Obama Should Not Make Any Apologies For Visiting Kenya – King’ang’i

President Barack Obama is coming to Kenya in July and Americans are questioning his decision tour the country with some giving excuses such as floods and lack of roads and errorism.

Mwalimu King’ang’i on the morning conversation with Maina said that President Obama should not make any apologies for his visit because after all Kenya is his rural home.

King’ang’i says that the president doesn’t need any American votes in the next election therefore he owes no one an explanation. He adds that Obama should visit Maasai Mara, Mombasa and his grandmother’s home in Kogelo and boost our tourism in the process.

Obama is coming to Kenya

US President Barack Obama is coming to Kenya.

The visit by the most powerful man on the planet is set for July this year.

This will be Obama’s first visit to Kenya since he assumed office as the 44th President of the United States. He has previously visited the country while he was still senator and before that had made private visits to his family.

The White House says Obama will visit Kenya for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, which brings together business leaders, international organizations and governments. This will be the first time the summit takes place in sub-Saharan Africa.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s spokesman Manoah Esipisu confirmed this in a televised address to the media from State house Nairobi on Monday Afternoon.

Obama, whose father hails from Kogallo village in Siaya, will hold bilateral meetings with President Uhuru Kenyatta during the visit.
