Neno Evangelist Pastor James Ng’ang’a is among the Kenyans who are living large.

Well, despite the controversies, the preacher is among the wealthiest men of God in Nairobi.

Since March this year after the first corona virus cases was reported in Kenya, the man of God together with his wife moved away from Nairobi to Kajiado where he has a mansion.

In a past interview, Ng’ang’a said he does not rely on gifts and offerings from members of his church to survive.

“One thing you should know is that I am a very rich pastor. I had many shops before starting my ministry which I gave away,” said Ng’ang’a.

James Ng’ang’a to be arraigned in court today for threatening Linus Kaikai

Controversial pastor Apostle James Nga’ng’a was arrested yesterday over threats to journalist Linus Kaikai after the latter called out ‘Church leaders’.

He is to be arraigned in court today.

In a viral video released last week, the pastor, dressed in military-like fatigue and calling himself a “Chief General Commander” threatened unexplained “consequences” believed to be directed at Kaikai.

Kaikai, who is a panelist in one of a news show, News Gang, went viral with his take seeking to regulate pastors he referred to as spiritual fraudsters and are profiting off unsuspecting Kenyans.

This prompted Ng’ang’a to shoot his video with the attacks on Kaikai.

Pastor Ng’ang’a was not impressed and responded  swiftly to the dismay of many.

“As a news anchor, why are you saying that? Are all your brother’s educated? Has everyone in your village gotten top notch education?

I thank those who do not know how to read because we will not need degrees to go to heaven .

People do not need to read to know God.

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s Lawyer Cliff Ombeta Withdraws From Case

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s top Nairobi lawyer Cliff Ombeta has withdrawn from representing the televangelist in the case of the fatal Limuru accident that left one woman dead.

During the hearing at Limuru law courts Cliff withdrew from the case citing lack of direction from the Neno Evangelism pastor.

The court ruled that police would not compel James Ng’ang’a to submit the DNA samples as requested by prosecutors Alloys Kemo and Catherine Mwaniki. Senior resident magistrate Timothy Tanchu declined the request Wednesday morning saying that all the evidence involving the fatal accident should have been gathered before the case.

Ng’ang’a was also ordered not to issue any statements to police or any other people after Catherine Mwaniki alleged that he made some disturbing statements during the Sunday service at his church.

The case will be mentioned on September 10, and heard on November 3 and 4.
