It’s national lipstick day ladies! Floss your favorite lip color

 

National lipstick day is observed every July 29 after beauty blogger Huda Kattan, the founder of Huda Beauty, proposed it and became a thing by a Proclamation from National Day Calendar’s Registrar.

Whether you wear sheer and light, dark or bright, girls, July 29th calls for all kinds of lipstick.

Here are interesting tidbits about lipstick that you didn’t know.

  1. Lipstick was associated with witchcraft

2. The British Parliament banned it in 1770 calling it a devilish attempt to trick men into marriage.
