List of the most scandalous things Kitany has alleged about Linturi!

Marianne Kitany has no qualms about exposing the crazy details that have transpired between herself and Mithika Linturi over the years that they were together.

Was it a just a long liaison as Mithika claims or were the two married as Marianne claims? That is for the court to determine, mine is to give you the juiciest and tastiest information that Marianne has unleashed on the public so far.

Some of it has been so crazy that even Classic105 host Maina Kageni has described his shock at the revelations. Over the course of this contentious period between the two, Kitany has lobbed some serious and embarrassing accusations at her ex.

They have been many and numerous, some that we might have forgotten. They are below;

1. Linturi had exposed her to STD’s

She said in her court affidavit,

‘I had on several occasions been exposed to venereal diseases and STD’s of various kinds and when I confronted him to accompany me for the treatment he threatened me with death.’

2. Kitany said she and Linturi were making love on day of Waiguru removal motion

Apparently, Meru Senator Mithika Linturi and his now-estranged wife Marianne Kitany were making love at Sopa Lodge in Naivasha when Linturi was required in Parliament to impeach CS Anne Waiguru.

‘However, on the day that he was to table the motion, we were with him at Sopa Lodge,’ Kitany told the court.

3. Marianne claimed that Linturi couldn’t perform in bed

In an affidavit filed in court, Marianne alleged that was one of the reasons they had issues in their marriage. ‘Linturi was unable to rise to the occasion in the bedroom on several occasions, claiming exhaustion, sickness, but for most of the part he simply could not,’ she claims.

4. I was given a bunch of miraa that looked like a manhood during their marriage ceremony

In a flash disk, Marianne provided the court with a video of photos confirming the traditional wedding to Linturi.

It was in the first photo that showed her smiling holding a bunch of miraa. According to Kitany during their traditional marriage, the bunch handed to her was tied and to her, it looked like a manhood.

5. Marianne alleged that Linturi received nudes from other women

Kitany explained in court that one of the reasons she decided to end her marriage with Mithika Linturi was because she came across pornographic materials in the Meru Senator’s phone.

She added that she ‘sneaked’ into his phone and found evidence of a woman who had sent the senator pornographic material.

6. Marianne alleged that Linturi hired a lady to poison her

Kitany told the court that the Meru senator had hired a lady to poison her. The lady, she claims, was supposed to cultivate a friendship with her before eventually poisoning her food.

Kitany to attend father in laws burial today

Marriane Kitany, the former chief of staff in the Office of the Deputy President, has said she will attend her father in-law’s burial on Tuesday in Igembe Meru.

Despite her divorce process with Meru Senator Mithika Linturi, Kitany through her lawyer Danstan Omari, said she is going to pay her last respects to Linturi’s father who passed away two weeks ago.

“It is the honour and respect… she has a moral, cultural and legal basis to attend the funeral. Whoever will want to cause drama it will not be from our side. We want to pay respect,” Omari said on Monday.

Last week, Kitany, applied for an adjournment on her ongoing divorce case against Linturi.

Kitany said she was not ready to proceed following the death of Linturi’s father on Monday night.

Omari said Kitany is in mourning and is in the process of going to her home in Meru to be part of her father-in-law’s burial programme.

‘Willing buyer willing seller’ Kitany denies luring Linturi to Naivasha

Marianne Kitany has denied luring her estranged husband and Meru Senator Mithika Linturi to Sopa Lodge in Naivasha where their love was brewed.

The former chief of staff in Deputy President William Ruto’s office, while being re-examined by Lawyer Danstan Omari, told the court it was a willing buyer-willing seller situation.

In her evidence, she said did not entice Linturi to Sopa Lodge to stop him from tabling a censure motion in Parliament.

“We became intimate. We were both willing. I cohabited with Linturi around June 2014 until March 2016 when we got married and lived as husband and wife,” she said.

Kitany said she got married to Linturi based on love and trust. She said she presented material evidence to prove that a marriage existed between them.

“I provided affidavits and photos. During the cross-examination, nobody challenged the photos I presented,”  she said.

Linturi has said they were never married. Kitany presented video evidence to prove they were married. Linturi says he is married to one wife – Mercy Kaimenyi.

Yeterday, Kitany told the court that she became aware of a marriage certificate between Linturi and Kaimenyi in December last year.

“It’s a document of a certain marriage celebrated on April 8, 2000. I didn’t know Linturi at that time. I did not attend that function,” she said.

She told the court only the registrar can confirm the marriage certificate presented by Linturi.

Kitany said a document generated by Tigania Catholic Church is not proof of marriage between Kaimenyi and Linturi.

“This document with a stamp from the Tigania church, according to me, doesn’t confirm a marriage. It can’t be the basis of a confirmation of a marriage. Only the registrar of of marriages can confirm,” she said.

Kitany, however, confirmed that Linturi filed a divorce case against Kaimenyi in 2005.

During cross-examination Kitany was asked whether she has any evidence of a divorce between Linturi and Kaimenyi . Yesterday she said the divorce suit papers formed part of the evidence and that the registrar of judiciary and registrar of marriages can also confirm there was a divorce.

Kitany further made reference to a witness statement of a Catholic Priest Jason Muchemi who claimed that that wedding between Kaimenyi and Linturi was conducted at Tigania Parish.

But Kitany said his being a Catholic priest is not an assurance of him telling the truth. “His a human being,” she said.

During the proceedings, the court declined to order that Kitany undergoes a psychiatric tests. Prof George Wajakoya, representing Linturi, made the request.

Magistrate Peter Gesora said the court has not detected any behaviour for it to make such drastic orders.

In her defence, Kitany said she has sound mind and has never been to a psychiatrist.

“I am also not a pathological liar as insinuated by the defence team. I want this court to grant me orders for divorce between myself and Linturi,” she said.

The case was adjourned to September 24.

The magistrate said it will not be live streamed, but the media will still be allowed to cover the case.

He made the decision after both parties reflected on the issue.

‘I didn’t force him to go with me to Sopa Lodge’ Mary Kitany

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi on Monday put up a spirited fight through his lawyers in a bid to discredit his estranged wife Marianne Kitany’s allegations against him.

However, a determined Kitany stood her ground and assertively maintained she was married to Linturi in a Nandi customary arrangement.

She also rejected claims by his lawyers that she tricked the legislator into accompanying her to Sopa on the day he was supposed to table a motion in Parliament.

Kitany and Linturi in the happier past

Lawyer George Wajakoya posed to Kitany that she lured Linturi into sexual activities at Sopa Lodge to get his properties.

Kitany rubbished the claim, saying she went to Sopa Lodge in his car of his own volition and she didn’t force him.

Kitany, who was is a Burgundy dress, was at one time pushed by Muthomi Thiankolu to explain to court if indeed the Sopa Lodge meeting took place.

According to Muthomi, Linturi has never stepped his foot into Sopa Lodge. Kitany insisted they were together on the day the motion was to be tabled and told the court to verify with the hotel.

She refused to name the person who was part of the plan that was hatched to bar Linturi from tabling the motion but confirmed there was indeed a motion.

“I confirm that there was a plan during the tabling of the motion and I can’t name names because they will not come here to testify,” she added.

Kitany on several occasions declined to answer questions posed to her by Linturi’s lawyers and even disowned several documents claiming they were not hers.

Marianne Kitany vs Linturi

Things got heated at one point, with Muthomi asking the court to protect him and order Kitany to answer questions.

Muthomi claimed the witness was insincere in refusing to answer questions, including whether Linturi is still married. In response, Kitany said Linturi is the only person who can confirm if he is married or not when he takes the stand.

She also dismissed allegations by Muthomi that she was after his wealth. According to Kitany, matters of the heart are very sensitive and can’t be questioned. She said she trusted Linturi wholehearted when he told her he was divorced.

“I’m wife no 4 and I considered myself as lucky as number 4 since I was there for love.”

She said a relationship is about trust and that’s the key pillar that makes marriage to work. However, she said she never changed her name to his and never did so even in her first marriage.

Things turned comical when Wajakoya asked the court to bring a lie detector machine to be used on Kitany to prove she was not lying.

Wajakoya further asked Kitany if she has ever undergone a medical psychiatric examination and at one time asked the court to order for one on her because she was “hostile”.

Muthomi accused Kitany of lying that she was married to Linturi, saying they were never married in any traditional marriage.

Linturi, through Muthomi, also refuted claims by Kitany that he stole titled deeds. He said her relatives voluntarily gave him the titles.

Muthomi told the court she was lying, saying all the documents on customary marriage have different dates showing inconsistencies in her testimony.

Marianne Kitany
Marianne Kitany

In a bid to deny the marriage claims to Kitany, Linturi said he was never in Nandi for a marriage ceremony. Muthomi claimed Linturi’s parents and siblings never attended the function and that cannot be a marriage.

In her defence, however, Kitany said Linturi told her that in their culture his parents could not attend their traditional marriage because they had already gone to his first wife’s home.

Muthomi argued that engagement and marriage are not the same, saying marriage is a process that cannot happen in one day. He said Nandi traditional marriage usually happens in stages leading to the final orders.

Kitany said she was not in a position to respond to issues of Nandi traditional marriage because an expert witness in Nandi tradition will testify and shed more light on the whole ceremony.

Kitany also claimed her witnesses from Meru who attended the marriage have been threatened not to testify.

Linturi claims that he attended functions in Nandi that have nothing to do with marriage and went for different functions, “but Kitany decided to lie that I was there for a wedding”.

My wife eyes me like the Tom Mboya statue after checking my phone

The conversation on Classic 105 was about women going through their mens phones.

This topic was based on evidence Mary Kaitany produced in court in the divorce proceeding against husband Linturi.

Kitanys testimony included a revelation that she found illicit content on her husbands phone. She told a packed courtoom

“Initially it was cheating and just like other women, I would sneak into his phone. I became suspicious of his moves because he would come home later, didn’t want to give me my conjugal rights and he would be quarrelling,” Kitany said.

Woman on phone
Woman on phone

Classic host Maina Kageni was rather shocked by how messy the divorce case appeared.

Is there a Kenyan man without nudes on his phone? Is there a Kenyan man whose hone you wont go through and get upset? Why do you entertain those things, so why don’t you see them and delete them?

Is there a Kenyan mans phone you can go through and not find anything incriminating? If Kenyan men were to be divorced based on contents on their phone would anyone be left married?

Ladies why do you go to his phone?how do you get his pin number and what are the logistics to get it?

A man called in with his hilarious story of how his wife got hold of his PIN number to access the contents of the phone.

when you are happy in your marriage and are at home, they will try and sneak through your phone me I had a problem with my wife one day, I think they have eyes like a chameleone, one looks infront the other on the side, you see when your opening your phone when she’s next to you she is facing forward you are facing down and she has already crammed the PIN no matter how long it is.

The worst thing is you will never know when she has read your messages you have it in the evening you go sleep at the same time but when you wake up she is so mad at you. She is looking at you like that statue along Tom Mboya street.

Woman-Angry-Cell-Phone1

One day she told me something and what I heard was from the context of a text message on my phone. Unfortunately I had not even opened that text so I asked her kwani these days I live with a witch, coz I didn’t hear you come out of bed, not even a sense of movement,

So what did his wife see: a text or whatsapp message?

I work at a high comission so we have these groups so somebody had said and I like the way this guy is tall coll and hardworking you know it was just a compliemnt but to her it intepreted different.

In my phone I assure you there are no nudes.

The drama that was happening behind the scenes was also no joke according to Marianne.

The former Chief of Staff of Deputy President William Ruto sensationally claimed that he had hatched a plot to kill her.

In her testimony, Kitany also disclosed that her estranged husband had sent armed goons to break into her home in Runda, Nairobi at night. She said;

They broke the gate, broke one door and dogs entered the house. All the while, Linturi was giving people instructions while police were watching. We were ordered to get out of the house and we complied and left it to the police.

She narrated that the lawmaker told the police that the house had been evaded by terrorists, only for them to find her children, a sick relative and an uncle.

Kitany revealed that this incident prompted her to move to court, seeking orders to bar Linturi from accessing the house. She also said that to date they have never been given back their personal items.

Who knew that the Meru Senator was so proficient in the love letters, even putting some modern-day poets to shame (methinks) with his colourful diction. Is it any wonder that Marianne was drawn to his charms?

‘Linturi cannot perform in bed’ His Wife Kitany spills the beans

The poem is below;

They say a picture is a worth a thousand words,
And a video is worth a thousand pictures,
So here us your thousand pictures.
Every time I set my eyes on you, a part of me softens
You are my love, you are my world, you are my everything.

With you, I grow and glow,
With you, I survive and thrive,
With you, I live and dive,
Knowing that you will always be my side.

Each day I thank the Lord, for the angel he sent me,
My angel is not up in sky or out in the world,
They are right there with me, they are right there in my heart,
That angel is you.
On this special day, I would like to wish you the best,
As I always do each and every day.
Happy Birthday My love,
From Frank

Marianne Kitany-Mithika was an eloquent and well-groomed man

Marianne Kitany and her estranged lover, Senator Mithika Linturi have this past week opened their love affair over for all and sundry to see.

The two former lovers were in court yesterday and barely looked at each other in day two of her testimony in a matrimonial property dispute between Senator Mithika Linturi and her.

Neatly dressed, she walked into court at 7.50am and took the witness box at exactly 8.18am.

She kept sipping water throughout her testimony.

She would play with her fingers. She wore a white pearl bracelet. Her nails were well-trimmed and fuschia-coloured

Dressed in a black floral dress topped with a back buttoned sweater she was composed and self-assured with her lawyers setting out her case.

When unsure, she would lean over and whisper to her lawyer. She would also laugh when asked to confirm dates or events.

The former chief of staff at Deputy President William Ruto office, who was wearing a ring on her finger as some point pointed out her estranged husband who had walked into court late and had to sit with the spectators.

Linturi was not in court in the first session. He came into court after the break during the second session and while sitting down Kitany was asked to identify him amidst laughter from the audience.

To the laughter of the whole court, the magistrate joked that Linturi had walked in right on time.

The senator wore a grey suit, a white shirt, white-polka-dot blue tie. he wore spectacles.

When his wife recalled their happier days, a small unhappy smile played around his mouth. His face grew brighter when she said he was an eloquent and well-groomed man.

Most of the time he seemed lost in thought, pensive, his chin would rest in his right palm.

The pair hardly glanced at each other when the court was adjourned. Linturi left and got into his lawyer’s Prado. Kitany eased into a Mercedes-Benz S350.

We were making love – Kitany claims about Linturi on day of Waiguru removal motion

The crazy details emerging from Marianne Kitany’s testimony in court yesterday reads like a sordid romance thriller with political intrigue sprinkled in.

Apparently, Meru Senator Mithika Linturi and his now-estranged wife Marianne Kitany were making love at Sopa Lodge in Naivasha when Linturi was required in Parliament to impeach CS Anne Waiguru.

Waiguru walking with Ruto

Linturi had wanted Waiguru impeached for alleged abuse of office and other alleged offences. If his impeachment motion was to succeed, Linturi had to be in Parliament to introduce it.

Waiguru speaks about why William Ruto didn’t attend her wedding

President Uhuru Kenyatta wanted the embarrassing motion to die and never come to a vote with Linturi being under intense pressure to give in.

As the chief of staff in the office of Deputy President William Ruto, she and others from the Presidency were tasked with making sure he dropped the motion.

For the motion to proceed, Linturi had to appear in Parliament on the day it was tabled.

“However, on the day that he was to table the motion, we were with him at Sopa Lodge,” Kitany told the court.

And so he was a no-show and Waiguru remained in office.

Kitany said the two met the senator in 2013 in the DP’s office and they met frequently because he used to visit often.

She said after she and Linturi returned from Naivasha, their love grew and she introduced him to her family including her brothers and sisters.

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi’s daughter reveals DEEP family secret

The firstborn daughter of Meru Senator Mithika Linturi says her father’s estranged wife Marriane Kitany was cruel and hostile during the time she stayed in the palatial Runda home.

In an affidavit, the senators daughter says her father introduced Kitany to her and her siblings in around December 2017 and her mother, who was estranged from her father, was not staying with them at the Runda home.

“My father informed us that Kitany was a friend in distress. My father also informed us that he had previously allowed her a temporary stay at our Runda Home,”

She says Kitany and her three children moved into their Runda home a few days later which unnerved her. Nonetheless, she took comfort in her father’s assurance that Kitany was only staying temporarily and would move out immediately her condition improved.

She says Litany put on the façade of a nice, friendly and supportive guest and would in the initial days take them for dinners and shopping.

“I easily let my guard down after getting beguiled by her façade. My siblings however were more discerning. My brother even moved out to go live with his mother,” she says.

Kitany’s temporary stay at the Runda house turned indefinite. According to the court documents, things started spiraling out of control in January this year when she found out that her daughter got a navel piercing with her help.

The two have had a nasty relationship ever since the incident which she believes was blown out of proportion.

“She even accused me of being in possession of marijuana and orchestrated my being put into a rehabilitation center on the pretext that I was addicted to marijuana while her real motive was to create a wedge between my father and I,” read part of the affidavit.

She says when she got back from the rehabilitation center, Kitany warned her that she needed to ‘behave’ and refrain from sabotaging her relationship with her father.

“Ever since that warning, our relationship has been incompatible, like water and oil,” she says.

She adds that the relationship between her and Kitany is very hostile and very different from the rosy picture she has painted in her affidavits. ”Kitany treats me and my siblings in a very cruel and hostile manner even though she is merely a guest at our Runda Home,” she says.

She wants the court to dismiss the application filed by Kitany and discharge the interim order issued on October 25, last year.

On October 25 last year, Kitany, obtained orders barring Linturi from entering the palatial Runda home.

“Pending hearing and determination of this application, an interim order of protection is hereby issued against the respondent and or agent, employees and servants,” read the court order.

The senator was further restrained from physically or sexually abusing or threatening Kitany, her staff and their six children or any persons associated with her or damaging any of her property.

But Kitany through Lawyer Danstan Omari has urged the court to confirm the said orders saying Kitany has faced the gravest of injustice occasioned by a person so loving, dear, and caring only to turn out to be the greatest tormentor

He said since the case before court deals with domestic violence, Kitany has an inherent dignity which should be protected.

Ruling will be delivered on February 1.
