Kim Kardashian is suing a maker of fast fashion knock-offs MissGuided USA for impinging on her fashion choices and income streams.
She claims to earn between $300,000 and $500,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post.
However, according to TMZ, the 38-year-old reality star can actually pull in as much as $1 million per post and her legal team are likely to re-file the documents with the adjustment.
Kim’s legal battle comes after she expressed interest in passing the Bar Exam and becoming a lawyer.
She posted a a photo of herself in a cyan bikini top with a large cut-out displaying her midriff, combined with a translucent blue skirt.
The social media star was gazing intently at a matching blue notebook, possibly filled with legal notes, and captioned the picture: ‘Take notes.’
The photo also featured a bottle on the table, raising the possibility that it was one of her sponsored content posts, though she didn’t explicitly mention any product.
