He looks so young! Willis Raburu’s wife Maryaprude shows off handsome father

Just because Willis Raburu and his wife Maryaprude might not be together anymore doesn’t mean that we still can’t report about her.

The beautiful and bubbly lady has her smile back after a couple of months where her social media presence had decreased to almost nil as she dealt with a plethora of heavy issues.

And her absence was understandable as she had not only lost a baby girl after a terrible miscarriage, she and her husband Willis were having issues, with some unsubstantiated reports claiming that the 10 over 10 host was cheating on her.

A source close to the family claimed the two had to call it quits after a case of reported infidelity. Apparently, the duo moved out of their home in Lang’ata and separated household items. “What happened is they divided the household items. Raburu then rented a house for Marya and paid a deposit for two months,” the source said.

This all happened within the first 3 months of a 2020 that has proverbially screwed over so many people. But like all things in life, change is constant and the smile is back on her face.

Marya recently posted an image of her father and wow isn’t he a handsome man! And his genes are impeccable as one can confuse him for her older brother as he has aged very well.

The photo was a TBT of herself and her father in 2017, with Maryaprude speaking about how much she loved and cherished her father.

Willis Raburu’s wife Marya changes name months after separation news

Celebrity relationships are tougher than most and one reason for that is the exposure that they go through on a daily basis.

This year, two couples that were pitch-perfect examples of marriage had tragic separations. Those couples are; Willis Raburu/Maryaprude and Ben Kitili/Amina Mude.

Amina confirmed the separation from Kitili dropping the bombshell on her social media page meanwhile the KTN news anchor has been silent on the whole affair.

A few months before this split, Raburu and his wife Maryaprude had been under the very same spotlight after news of their separation was made public.

The two still haven’t confirmed or denied the news but Marya took an extended hiatus from Instagram (a worrying sign in today’s world).

But it seems that Marya has gotten her groove back, making her first post in nearly 3 months. She did so while wishing her sister a happy birthday.

In the post shared on her account, Marya is seen clad in a pink top, blue jeans and completed the look with colourful pink rubber shoes. Her caption;

It’s my sisters birthday 👻👻👻 honestly lately I’ve been the small sister coz she’s had to hold the fort. We fought a lot when we were younger mostly coz we are so different but now I can never see my life without you.

One thing that keen observers will note about her Instagram page is what it now says in her bio. Instead of the name Marya Raburu that used to appear, Maryaprude is now her official name on the app.

While she might have taken time to get back to the app, Raburu has been like a rock and has gone with his normal routine posting like nothing was afoot.

Let’s not forget that what most likely started the downward trajectory for this happy couple was the loss of their baby in January this year.

Let’s hope that this couple can rekindle what was lost and start anew like the Biblical Job who lost all his children and later had the Lord bless him anew.

Before Covid-19 came about and collectively karate chopped the world’s 2020 plans, Willis Raburu could honestly say he had already had a precursor of the terrible year we would have.

Yesterday, the 10 over 10 presenter raised eyebrows after sharing a series of cryptic messages on relationships via his Insta-stories.

One of the themes of his many posts was leaving some things left unsaid no matter how bad you want to address them.

“As bad as you wanna address it somethings are better left unsaid,  I’m learning,” reads one of the messages.

He added, “Generally, arguing less occurs when she is less interested.”

The cryptic posts left many wondering if the TV presenter was indirectly touching on the allegations that were labelled against him and his wife.

The posts come a few weeks after Willis was accused of separating from his wife Marya. The rumours were first broken earlier this month with the presenter and his wife refusing to address the issue.

Kenyans On Twitter picked on him as the topic of discussion after a number of gossip pages alleged that the was no longer living together with his wife over cheating claims.

But the woman who Willis is alleged to have broken his marriage for came out to strenuously deny the claims.

“Hi everybody, I didn’t feel the need to reply to this lie, but I’m getting exhaustingly many DMs asking me about this and everyone deserves to know the truth. I want to let every Kenyan reading this that I don’t know the guy Twitter is portraying me to know. Thanks,” wrote Miva Noella.

‘My eyes just welled up’ Raburu’s wife says after going to church for first time in months

While Kenya and the world at large might be grappling with the covid-19 virus, Willis Raburu’s wife, Maryaprude has been having a different experience – a positive outlook.

Marya has had a tough 2020 for anyone who knows her story. A little recap – Willis and his wife Marya lost their unborn baby girl, Adana on the last day of 2019, something that shattered their lives – the way the coronavirus has done worldwide.

Marya is now getting back to her old self and one way to do that is by re-establishing old connections-in this case, the church. Taking to Instagram, Mrs. Raburu revealed that it was a moving moment for her when she walked into Jubilee Christian Church (JCC).

She went on to disclose that she had missed worshiping together with fellow believers.

“Today was my first time to attend church in a long time, walked in and my eyes just welled up with tears, I missed being among brethren, praising and worshiping together. I had an amazing time,” shared Marya.

This statement contrasts remarkably to the one a grieving Marya had made earlier in the year questioning why God had failed to come through for her when she needed him the most. She mentioned that people were encouraging her by telling her about God but she did not want to know him.

“Everyone is so quick to tell me about God… What they don’t know is that every way I knew Him was tested and He didn’t prove Himself. So as they say you should know God for yourself, I now can say, I don’t know Him. And I don’t think I want to know him coz He left me when I needed him the most,” wrote Mrs. Raburu.

Her encouraging statement comes a few days after she announced her comeback via Instagram. Her revelation came after a fan commented on her picture, noting that she was smiling and went ahead to thank God for that.

But it seems the grieving period will take some time as Maryaprude shared a message with her fans and followers on her Instagram page where she empathised with people who have thought of taking their own lives.

In a post seen by Classic105, Mrs Raburu said that this life is so messy and she totally understands why people make such decisions.

“Now I totally understand people who contemplate suicide. This life is so messy,” she wrote on Instagram.

She went ahead to share a post with their daughter Adana who passed on before being born.

This isn’t the only post that showed how much she had been struggling with the loss of her unborn baby. Just after the news was revealed by Raburu, his wife wrote a post where she said that God had failed to come through for her when she needed him the most.

Raburu.
