Rihanna orders Lewis Hamilton to cut ties with ex

Rihanna has allegedly banned Lewis Hamilton from communicating with ex-girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger because she is worried ”that a spark may still linger” between them.

The 27-year-old singer, who has been linked to the British Formula One driver since July, has reportedly demanded he completely ”cut contact” with his ex-girlfriend if he wants to continue dating her.

A source said: ”Nicole was constantly texting Lewis and it annoyed Rihanna. So she told him that if he doesn’t cut contact, it’s over.”

The 30-year-old star split from former Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger, 37, in February after seven years of dating and she is rumoured to now be dating Ed Sheeran, 25.

But the insider told InTouch magazine: ”Rihanna’s worried that a spark may still linger. She wants to ensure she’s the woman in Lewis’ life.”

Despite her concerns, Rihanna’s ”second mum” approves of her new relationship. Sharon Bellamy Thompson – who helped raise the singer as a child, babysitting her and driving her to school – recently said: ”They would have beautiful babies. As long as this man makes her happy, he’s got my approval. You’ve got to love his British charm. ”I saw her at the carnival [in Barbados] and Lewis is so handsome.”

Nicole Scherzinger ‘dumps Lewis Hamilton after he refuses to marry her

Nicole Scherzinger has split up with Lewis Hamilton because he would not commit to marrying her, it has been reported.

Their relationship  of seven years has hit the wall, apparently after a series of Christmas rows.

“It really is over this time,” a source told The Sun.

A few months ago they were rumoured to be in the process of being engaged, but Nicole called for time after realising the ring wasn’t coming.

But now it seems the couple’s increasing time away from each other has torn them apart. Nicole, 36, is said to be “really upset”.

Lewis, 30, who won his second F1 title last year, is said to be more committed than ever to his sport.

Lewis Hamilton wins world championship in Abu Dhabi

Lewis Hamilton clinched his second drivers’ world championship with a comfortable victory in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The 2008 champion became only the fourth Briton to win two world titles.

Hamilton, second in qualifying, took the lead at the start and controlled the race, as Mercedes team-mate and title rival Nico Rosberg suffered car trouble and finished 14th.

“This is the greatest day of my life,” the 29 year-old said.

“2008 was a great year in my life. The feeling I have now is way, way past that. The greatest feeling ever.”

Hamilton moves level with Britons Jim Clark and Graham Hill on two titles, and is one behind Sir Jackie Stewart.
