Things that Kenyan men do that makes them broke

Kenyan men have stable jobs and an income, but somehow they are always broke.

They confronted these accusations when Classic 105 host Maina Kageni accused men of dumping their financial responsibilities on women.

Ni kubaya! Tanasha deletes Diamond’s name as father of son, Naseeb

Maina said

men you are bankrolled by your women, they even give you money under the table to pay bills, your mpesa doesn’t even have 300 bob, you can’t pay rent, gari haina petroli, your account reads like a radio frequency, yet you men never give your women money.

To which Mwalimu Kingangi defended men saying they are bankrolling everything and women have no gratitude.

Kenyan men don’t know how to hide money where do our ladies take their money because men remove all their money and leave men broke

Why are Kenyan men such bad money managers asked Maina Kageni? Women manage money and men don’t.

These 3 eligible bachelors could wife-up exquisite Lupita Nyong’o

Alot of men supported Mwalimu saying they pay women’s bills, na wanapambanna na hali yao.

Here are reactions to Maina’s questions.
In Nairobi the good cars the women drive and their lavish lifestyles are sponsored by men. Men commit themselves to so many things.

I took a loan of to build a house and my spouse would just remind me that your money is going to build the house hii ingine na ongezea ni pesa yangu yet this is our house we are building.”

We are not broke… We are rich until we start spending with you ladies…. #MainaAndKingangi
The man pays the expensive bills while the woman pays for the cheaper bills. When she pays the rent once she will say mimi ndo nalipanga

kenyan men are never broke, they simply spend their money where they feel most appreciated!

Peter Kimatia..
we are not broke maina but we are paying all bills for family, extended family and who village single hundedly as unwritten law bestowed to African men.
kimi kimachu..
No, men have so many responsibilities that make this gender equality stuff a scam. A woman is just so stingy and doesn’t have many expectations in society. Hawa wanawake watuachishe

Because majukumu yetu ni mingi you pay tax,two take of your kid your mom, mother in law and worst your woman who dont want to see any penny standing n because of usumbuvu yake you end drinking the remaining or else tafta peace kwa mpango. What left to save Person running

… Kenyan men are not broke…. We just have too many responsibilities that have to be met. Not forgetting the OVER DEPENDANT WOMEN. Who expect us to cater for even their Most minor expense. Hata Tissue ya kubeba kwa Handbag wanatuitisha yet they are working!!!

Save my job! Painful hashtag showing how much Kenyans are suffering

The country is experiencing one of the worst periods economically.

The reasons are myriad and most of them stem from one source, poor government policies.

I will not even say a lot about how terrible they are, as I will start vacillating.

Relax…Geoffrey…Relax…But many Kenyans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed on with many businesses that employ hundreds/thousands closing shop.

Sportpesa pulls out of Kenyan market frustrated with government actions

Kenyans have even started two hashtags concerning the issue.

The two are #Savemyjob, #Ilostmyjob.

Some of the best comments are below;

Shikoh Kihika: Keenly following the #ILostMyJob #SaveMyJob, my big question is, are the youth of this nation tired enough to go out in the streets? Are we ready to take back our land.. 80% of a population with 55%unemployed is not just a normal number it’s disheartening!!

I will leave you with the poem below German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984);

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
