‘We vowed to stay best of friends’ Eric Omondi reveals how he met Maribe

While opening up on fallen comedian Njenga Mswahili’s troubled life, Eric said famous people are forced into living touched up lives.

‘I remember when I started featuring in Churchill Live, in the first five months, I was very famous but very broke. I could not walk in the streets. I would board matatus and many would think I was shooting an episode but in the real sense, I had nothing. I was soaking in sweat,’ the funnyman said.

While his story is inspiring, there are other stars who also have such motivational stories. A lot of people might know about J.K. Rowling’s struggles before she found fame for writing Harry Potter.

She has said before that times were so rough, that she even contemplated suicide. While writing Harry Potter she was jobless, a single parent, but she was grateful that she wasn’t homeless.

J.K. Rowling was rejected by so many publishers, but she finally got the green light and the series has sold over 450 million copies worldwide. Her net worth now is estimated at Sh.100 billion.
