‘I don’t like being put in a box’ former Machachari actor Ian Nene

Ian Nene, former Machachari actor known as Almasi has addressed the sensitive topic of his se3uality.

He has on different occasions been called gay for his daring dressing.

His fashion statements is something many Kenyans have a problem with.

Speaking about the topic during an interactive session with his fans on Instagram, Ian was asked by a fan what his opinion on se3uality is and here is his response.

My personal opinion is as long as you are not harming anyone and as long as you are doing your own thing.

You are expressing yourself in proper, clean fashion then all is good.

I don’t like being put in a box and boxes don’t work for me. The only thing I can say about myself is that I am a servant of the people.

I did not rape her or sleep with her! DK Kwenye Beat speaks of scandal

grown almasi

Ian further adds that at times people want to read to much into his fashion statements and

There is no box you can put me in.When I love, I love and I love in a proper and respectful way.

I do not love in a se3ual way I love in a mood of service and that is something I have come to learn about my spiritual life.

That is how I associate with others and that’s how I live my everyday life and that is how I try to build relationships.

In conclusion he says

I am not just out here to please myself.

This  is because I have learnt that its also temporary and that you can try so hard to please yourself in that kind of passion but it leads you nowhere.

Fashion is his drug! Here are 10 photos which prove that Machachari actor Almasi is the best dressed

Former Machachari actor Ian Nene popularly know as Almasi has turned his fashion passion into a trend.

He was criticized by most on social due to his fashion sense after posing with flowers, that led many to question his s3xuality, however he responded swiftly saying he didn’t care what people thought.

“My photos have meanings. I feel like with every picture I post on social media, I want to create an emotion and I have my own reasons for it regardless. Me putting on a flower is like it’s like a liberation of art. We are getting to a place where expressions vary and you can use any form of expression that you want as an individual. So that was just me and I worked with really good photographers to see the different aesthetics I can do.” He told Mpasho.

His way of dressing is very outstanding and different and just like Alexander McQueen said,

“It’s a new era in fashion there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.”

Check out how fashionable this young man is.

1.”One is never over-dressed or under-dressed with a Little Black Dress.”Karl Lagerfeld

2.“You either know fashion or you don’t.” Anna Wintour

6.“Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.” — Ralph Lauren

8. “Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself.” —Oscar de la Renta

9. “People will stare. Make it worth their while.” —Harry Winston

10. “Style is primarily a matter of instinct.” — Bill Blass
