Exclusive: Money and fame can’t change you if God really called you – Pitson

The gospel industry is under siege and it is easy to understand why given that two of its top artistes are currently facing allegations of infecting a woman with Herpes.

Herpes is an infection caused by HSV (herpes simplex virus). There are two types of Herpes Mainly HSV-1 and HSV-2.

Apart from gospel artistes being caught up in s3x scandals there has been the big question of gospel artistes creating music that is lacking in ‘spiritual nourishment’.

Speaking exclusively to Classic 105, Pitson says that it’s important for  one to lay a good foundation and know why they were ‘called’.

“The problem is the foundation. Being able to identify why one came into the industry and the reason they do what they do.

If the reason was to praise God even if money and fame comes through one is not supposed to change.

But if they joined the gospel industry for fame, once they get fame is when they start behaving the way they are behaving.”

DK Kwenye Beat and Hope Kid have been under harsh criticism from Kenyans with many terming them a bad example to the youth.

Trouble started after a 20 year old woman approached a top blogger and informed him that the duo had infected her with Herpes, something that she is yet to come to terms with.

There are two types of herpes mainly HSV-1 and HSV-2.

HSV-1, or type 1 herpes, is most often responsible for herpes infections that result in lesions in or around the mouth, otherwise known as cold sores, although it can also cause genital sores.

HSV-2, or type 2, is thought to almost exclusively cause genital sores.

‘Are you still a gospel singer yawa?’ Fan questions Willy Paul after welcoming Hope Kid to the ‘other side’

Willy Paul seems to be getting into more controversy about his faith every single day with many wondering if his music is more gospel or secular.

The artiste who was a darling to many for his touching gospel music has recently been bashed by social media users for producing songs which do not glorify God.

Willy Paul received a back lash from the public after accepting Hopekid into the ‘other side ‘ after releasing his latest jam ‘ Perfect’ which according to him (Hope Kid) is meant for every woman out there just to remind them that they are perfect in their own ways.

Willy Paul took to social media to promote Hopekid’s new song but all didn’t go well. He wrote,

“Yes this n***a just joined me on this other side… Lol kazi safi from Hopekid,”

This statement has left many with questions than answers.

Did Willy Paul just admit that he’s no longer a gospel singer? Has he signed Hope kid under his Saldido Record label or what did he mean by saying ‘he joined me on the other side?”

Willy Paul has done collabos with secular artistes such as Harmonize, Sauti Sol and Jamaica’s Alaine in their hit song ‘I do’.

He has also been under criticism recently after posting cozy photos of him and Nandy who is a secular artiste.

Who Copied Who? Willy Paul And Hopekid Spotted Wearing The Same Shirt (Photos)

Fashion has constantly been mistaken for a joy ride, rather than a statement. An outfit should speak a thousand words even before you state the brand or where you bought it.

willy p(1)

Buying clothes from a boutique is usually tricky because you’ll definitely meet more than a hundred people wearing the same shoe, dress or jeans. It’s usually pretty embarrassing because maybe someone else has rocked the outfit better than you.

Willy Paul and Hopekid have both been spotted wearing the same Gucci shirt. The shirt has floral prints and if you look closely, you’ll notice it’s a Gucci shirt. It’s not clear if it’s a fake or original Gucci shirt.

Hopekid1

So who wore it better? Did they know they owned the same shirt even though they wore it at different times? Well, only they would know the answer.
