Guardian Angel’s fiancee Esther Musila says she wasn’t sure how her children would receive the news of her engagement.
Guardian Angel proposed to her on her 51 birthday last month.
Speaking in a recent interview, the mother of three said;
“The thing that really scared me is I didn’t want the news to get to social media and my kids don’t know because what would have been their reaction? That I got engaged and didn’t tell them. So, I called my daughter and I told her to guess what? The first thing that came to her mind she thought I was pregnant then I said no and she screamed ‘Mum you engaged, I’m so happy for you. I was on speakerphone and my youngest son was posed then said mum I’m so happy for you.”
Esther Musila, who is engaged to gospel singer Guardian Angel says that she is yet to meet the singer’s mother.
The mother of three engaged her fans in a Q&A session where she allowed them to ask her anything they would want to know about her. One follower asked her if she had met Guardian’s mum and she replied that she is yet to.
“Have you met Peter’s mom?”
She then replied;
“She is not in the country.”
Another fan asked;
“Are your three children ready to call Guardian Angel dad? Even the one who is almost his age?”
Esther also mentioned that she had the conversation with her children about dating a younger guy and made it clear that at the end of the day, she is the only one who can decide for herself who she wants to date.
Esther Musila and Guardian Angel made their relationship public last year.
On her birthday this year, Guardian went ahead and engaged her in a private occasion held in Karen.

“5 years ago, a morning just like this one, I received a call that my dearest mum had passed away in her sleep. This was less than 12 hrs after my brother Fred and I had been to shags for the weekend. It was the darkest day in our lives. I still don’t know how we found the strength to drive to Machakos, it actually felt like a dream and we would snap out of it.
I truly believe to this day that the Almighty worked it out in his own way and wanted us to spend the last hours of mum’s life with her.
Mum, not a single day passes without a thought of you. You give me so much strength and your passing on taught me to appreciate every single day of my LIFE and live like there is no tomorrow. I was raised by a strong woman. I know you got my back mum.”
“Rest in Power my dearest mum. Fred, your grandchildren Gideon, Gilda, Glenn, Musila and Mbeke and I treasure the LIFE we shared together.
Mum, I honestly wish you had lived a little longer to meet the most wonderful man in my life now, I know you’d be so happy to see me in this new space I am in in my life. I now sing your favorite hymns and I hear your voice in them😢
The beautiful mother while commenting on a photo she took with the Hadithi hitmaker wrote,
“I will never tire of saying how much you have humbled my life and shown me what true love really is. And yes I will walk with you side by side to fulfil God’s purpose for our lives. Bless you, my King💕💕.”

“Love is a beautiful thing. #lovewins❣.”

Gospel Singer Guardian Angel has been the talk of the town for falling in love with Esther Musila who is a 50-year-old single mother of three.
Esther who has remained mum about the whole issue appeared on Bonga na Jalas TV to speak about their relationship.
Musila says she is 50-years-oldand yes, she knows what she wants in life.
Esther disclosed that she met Guardian through Maina Kageni before their love blew.
“I had restrained myself from having an interview although I think it good for me to also fight for myself because some people who are judging me or talking about me, don’t know much about my life,” she said.
“They don’t know my journey they COULD be hurting my kids with the things they are saying about me.
I am 50-year-old I have been through life and I know what I want with the remainder of my life that God has given me.”
“My mum died at 72 years and that very young and if I have to live to the life she lived, that’s 20 years and I want those to be my best life starting now.
Musila recounted of when this year started saying she said to herself that she wants to be Esther.
“I have been through life 50 is a big year but I purposed and said this is going to be my year, I would do what Esther wants and I will make Esther happy, my kids are grown, the last born is 22 years, they are running their lives, but am still their mother but as Esther I have my life a which I want to live. So I am living my life, my rules, I am happy and Guardian said we met through Maina Kageni.
Esther says the first time she heard of Guardian was on Classic 105 while driving to work.
“I heard this song Maina plays and I sent him a messaged asking what song is that and who sang it and he said Rada by Guardian Angel, I got to my office and went to Google and searched Guardian Angel and I was like I have never heard of this guy, I play that song the whole day and by the time I was going home, I knew the all the words.
That same week I said to Maina can I meet Guardian Angel that song has touched and spoke to me as a person that your Radar needs to change.
It was the 13th of March when they announced the 1st Corona cases and theis week we were told we were working from home. My Birthday was coming up in May and 50 being a big number I had plans. So with Corona happening, I was like what should I do, then one day when my mum had passed on in 2016. Guardian has a foundation is saw it good to come under his foundation so I went out and ask people to collect money and also did the song which I released on my Birthday so that is where the Journey started. It was not anything planned.”
Guardian said the society is so quick to judge him even before they hear his side of the story.
“I have never been happy in my life like I am today, Genuinely happy.
Those who have said this guy is going to love his mother, listen the word says, you will come together and become one, if this woman is older than you or your mother the minute you agree to become one, the nonsense of mother-ness ends and she becomes your wife. So if we have agreed to be in marriage she is my wife, it doesn’t matter how old she is, I am the husband, that’s is if we are married,” he said.

Living on the streets is not a walk in the park. Everyday we see scores of Kenyans forced to live in the streets owing to various circumstances.
A wise man once said that your past does not determine your future and going by how far these celebrities have come it is true.
Below is the list of celebs who once called the streets home.
1. Guardian Angel
The gospel singer, whose songs are currently topping the music charts, grew up in the streets. In past interviews, Guardian has always narrated his past sad life experience and how he ventured into music to inspire the youth.
“We happened to have gotten to a place where it was a bit hard for us to hold on because my mother had lost her job and life was just hard and me being that kajamaa who doesn’t want to look at his mother go through some stuff so that life goes on and couldn’t just watch so I decided to go my way and let my mum figure her way out. I got arrested when I was in the streets. I was on the streets and I think the President at that time said the streets should be cleared. So I was among those who were cleared from the streets.”
The media personality, now a mother of two, is never afraid of sharing details of her past. She’s been through a lot and just like some, her life hasn’t been a smooth path. Annita went to the streets when she was 13-years-old.
“I was so rebellious because I was raised by a very harsh mother. I started running away from home at a very tender age of 13 years and started living in the streets. I lived in the streets of Nairobi with the worst people in the society. Those were my friends. They used to treat me like I am the baby in their crew. You are the one who carried the drugs for them,” she narrated.
“Then one day I was coming in with one of them, so we are at Moi Avenue, then someone hit me from the back, nkafikiri ni mwizi and I was like, anataka nini. I fell down and became unconscious. I did not have money but anyway I had drugs with me. They dragged us towards Jevanjee. They were two guys and both were from my tribe, I understood all what they were planning for me. So they raped me and that was the worst thing in my life.”
Self-proclaimed Member of Chokora Assembly joined the streets at the tender age of 12, after his peers convinced him to accompany them to Nairobi in search of greener pastures without the knowledge of his parents.
“For three years, I experienced the vagaries of street life in Nairobi’s Saika estate, during which I worked as a vegetable errand boy to and from Gikomba market to survive,”he said in previous interviews.
The controversial gospel singer spent most of his time on the streets. And just like street urchins, he ate from the bins.
In an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Ringtone narrated that his mother dumped him at the doorstep of a bar in Nairobi’s Tom Mboya Street and left him at the mercy of the streets of Nairobi.
“I was thrown away in a box on the streets , my father died when I was 5, I became a street boy at the age of 7. I was brought up by my grand mother who later passed on when I was 7.
I have been employed as mtu wa mitumba. I also worked as a shoe shiner, later I went to Mombasa to be a beach boy before being taken to school by a church I am where I am today because of God’s grace. Nothing will ever make me leave him.”
His uncle later found him and sent him to the village to stay with his grandmother who later passed away, leaving him once again at the mercy of the world.
He was forced to flee to the streets where he did everything urchins do because his family had allegedly rejected him until when he was rescued by a good Samaritan.
The flamboyant gospel singer also tasted the rough life of the streets.
In past interviews, Papa Dennis revealed that his parents passed away when he was very young and in Class 8, leaving behind three children. With no one to support or care for them, Denno had to turn to the streets to fend for himself and his siblings.
“I’ve been through a lot, and growing up an orphan really takes a toll on you. It affected me after primary school seeing other kids go to high school while I couldn’t. It hurt a lot. So I started taking on menial jobs to survive.”
He was later rescued by Sadat Muhindi, the CEO of Maliza Umaskini foundation that helps the needy and nurtures talent. Papa Dennis celebrated his birthday yesterday.
Anything that involves women and children will always get you money. Of course he was not starting a lipstick line to give for free, so the probability of making some good money is high. Guardian said the lipstick is at a price many women can afford, even those of a lower class.
“Every woman wants to look good, so why not give her the opportunity to?” he asked. “At just 700 bob, you will own lipstick.”
