Gospel singer Gloria Muliro weds her new bae, a pastor

Gospel singer Gloria Muliro is officially off the market after walking down the aisle with her fiancé Evans Sabwani last weekend.

The wedding was attended by a few close friends in the industry and family at a private ceremony in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

The singer first introduced her man to the public on February 14, 2021, at a time the world was celebrating Valentine’s Day. She got engaged at the same period.

Evans is an American citizen, a pastor, an engineer and a graphics artist.

The ‘Narudisha’ hit singer shared a photo of her new man, pampering him with love.

“Happy Valentine’s day to my best friend, the most important man in my life, my heart’s safe place, my reason for celebrating this day. I love you, Ev.”

“I am in love with a wonderful man of God and what you could have heard is not a rumour. We have kept this a private affair but I can talk about it now because I have the go-ahead from my soon-to-be husband.

“After confirming that we will have a lifelong journey together, we informed our families who gave us their blessings and we have already done the traditional marriage ceremony,” she said.

The singer walked out of her troubled marriage with Pastor Eric Omba, six years ago.

They had married in a colourful wedding ceremony in 2009.

The woman Pastor Omba hooked up with after leaving Gloria Muliro

Pastor Omba moved on after being dumped by celebrity songstress Gloria Muliro, a couple of years back. Some people would wish the worst for the Congolese Pastor especially after rumours of his infidelity to the perfect woman Gloria.

But Omba is not a man who cares about the haters. You do know that being a pastor is a constant journey through both hate and love.

The man shared some snaps of how he had moved on swimmingly with his life recently on his social media. Some photos are below:

This story reminds me of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston but in the opposite.

In this case, Brad cheated on his first wife with Angelina Jolie.

After the dissolution of the marriage between the Brad and Jennifer, Brad went on to marry Angelina. The two have 6 children together.

The family

Although the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separated in 2016, it seems that Brad got a lot more from this relationship than ex-wife Jennifer got from her numerous liaisons. And if the stability of a relationship is something to look at, Jennifer has had a revolving door of lovers since Brad left her.

Also kids. Brad and Angelina have a big brood. 6 kids together while Jennifer is not a mother at the moment. Maybe, her choice.

‘Every marriage has a price to pay’ Says Muliro’s ex husband Eric Omba

Pastor Eric Omba ,Gloria Muliro’s husband has shared some of the secrets to a lasting marriage .According to him everyone has a weakness hence no perfection.

The man of God who has since moved on and remarried shared the advice below and we seem to agree with him.

*Secret 1*
Everyone you marry has a weakness. Only God does not have a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse’s weakness you can’t get the best out of his or her strength.

*Secret 2*
Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married stop digging into someone’s past.

What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.

Exclusive: Maina Kageni finally reveals why he is not getting married

Gloria Muliro and her ex husband Eric Omba on their wedding day

*Secret 3*
Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges.

Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow *For better for worse*. In sickness and in health be there.

*Secret 4*
Every marriage has different levels of success. Don’t compare your marriage with any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.

*Secret 5*
To get married is declaring war. When you get married you must declare war against enemies of marriage. Some enemies of marriage are:Ignorance ,Third party influence ,Stinginess,Rudeness.

*Secret 6*
There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it. Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service.

If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.

*Secret 7*
God cannot give you a complete person you desire. He gives you the person in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould the person that you desire. This can only be achieved through prayer, love and Patience

*Secret 8*
Getting married is taking a huge risk. You can not predict what will happen in the future. Situations may change so leave room for adjustments.

Husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies. All these require you to be prayerful otherwise you might seek for divorce but marriage is for togetherness until death does you apart.

*Secret 9*
Marriage is not a contract. It is permanent. It needs total commitment. Love is the glue that sticks the couple together. Divorce start in the mind and the devil feeds the mind. Never ever entertain thoughts of getting a divorce. Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married. God hates divorce.

*Secret 10*
Every marriage has a price to pay. Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money that you deposit that you withdraw. If you don’t deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate for a blissful home.

So today let us pray for our marriages and ask God to help us where we are lacking in the marriage. Send to those you care about because you never know who you may be helping. May God bless you all.

The Clock Is Ticking! 5 Female Gospel Artistes Who Need To Get Married This Year (PHOTOS)

In the Kenyan entertainment industry, a lot of celebrities have walked down the aisle in the last two years, with others sadly breaking up and separating soon after for instance Betty Kyallo and Eunice Njeri.

Christian ladies or born again celebrities in the country are role models to a lot of young people and when it comes to settling down or getting married, they face more pressure since they are expected to set the example of having a family, in accordance to God’s plans.

There are those who have been successful with relationships and marriage, while for others it didn’t go so well, and for some, they have never even introduced any men in their lives.

Love Over Everything! Gorgeous Singer Kambua Is Not Shy To Show Off Her Man (Photos)

So, how about we look at some female artistes in Kenya who should walk down the aisle this year;

1. Lady Bee
The secular-turned-gospel singer is a down to earth lady who decided to give her life to Christ back in 2012 after battling with alcoholism and drug addiction. The stunning singer is a mother of a pretty daughter and is yet to settle down. We hope the right man comes her way soon because he will be a lucky one.

2. Alice Kamande
She is no doubt one of the mot beautiful singers in the country and her mellow voices just makes her glorious in every way. The talented singer has managed to keep her private life off the public radar over the years and has never introduced any man to her fans. I bet she is waiting for the right one to come sweep her off her feet soon, and we hope that will be this year.

3. Gloria Muliro
I had to put her in this list because she deserves a good man after her nasty breakup with ex-husband Pastor Eric Omba back in 2015. The celebrated singer revealed that Omba was cheating on her and mismanaging her music funds. Gloria Muliro deserves better and there are rumors that she’s dating and happy. Her ex has moved on with a younger girl and they already have a child.

4. Ruth Matete
She is remembered as Tusker Project Fame season five winner and soon after, she revealed that she was not singing secular music anymore, joining the gospel industry with a couple of songs under her name. There was a time she revealed her boyfriend, former Tahidi High actor, Prince-Tysder. But since breaking up, she has been off the limelight and it’s not known of she’s dating again.

5. Eunice Njeri
This gospel singer causes an online uproar after she revealed that she had annulled her marriage to rapper Izzo just a day after their lavish wedding. I know some people are mad and don’t think she deserves to ever walk the aisle, but honestly, I think she should actually settle down by the end of the year. If not got back to Izzo, at least get a man who is in Kenya, since this is where her heart is and the clock is ticking and she needs kids too.

She’s Glowing! 5 Photos Of Gloria Muliro That Prove She’s Doing Better After Dumping Estranged Husband

Gloria Muliro made headlines back in 2015 when she came out to reveal that she was separating from her husband, Eric Omba, after claims of abuse, misuse of her cash and infidelity.

The celebrated singer walked out of the marriage because she couldn’t fake happiness anymore. Even as much as she had tried to make amend and make it work, the controversial pastor only made things worse in the 5 years they were together.

Gloria Muliro’s Ex-Husband Eric Omba Is A Bitter And Angry Man. Find Out Why

Pastor Eric Omba and Gloria Muliro exchanged wedding vows back 2009 at a colorful ceremony. Things, however,  didn’t turn out to be so blissful, with Gloria Muliro revealing that her ex-husband mismanaged her career, as well as making claims to property that was not his.

At some point, Eric Omba did not want to let go of his beautiful wife and even hoped to win her back, but sadly,  Muliro had moved on and decided to turn over a new leaf.

But years on, Gloria Muliro has proved to be stronger and has been focusing on her music and rumour has it that she found a man worthy of her attention. She is currently dating him but has chosen to keep the relationship away from the public radar.

Sorry Pastor Omba, Gloria Muliro Has Moved On

On the other hand, her ex-husband has also found himself a younger woman, and they already have a daughter together. Mark you, they have not walked down the aisle, meaning he’s gotten a child out of wedlock…

But one thing I have noticed, Gloria Muliro looks stunning and is glowing even after walking out of the painful marriage. There is no doubt that she’s now stress-free and is doing better than ever.

These elegant photos below prove that Muliro is happier and now has peace of mind;

Drama Free! Top 10 Kenyan Gospel Artistes Who Have Managed To Keep Scandals Away

The Kenyan gospel industry has in the last couple of years risen up to greater heights, becoming more popular after receiving positive feedback and response from the fans.

Of course, the style of music had to change especially for the young gospel artistes who started their own sound but at the same time, trying to keep it all the way gospel.

But for some, not all of them have managed to keep it all genuine when it comes to Christian songs that are supposed to inspire fans, and for some, they just let the fame and money get into their heads.

Top 5 Kenyan Gospel Artistes Who’ve Been Accused Of Not Paying Back Loans

The gospel scene has had some of the biggest scandals and controversies in the last 2 to 3 years, with most of the artistes involved being the young singers or newcomers in the gospel music.

There are several names in the gospel industry that are known very well for their huge scandals, after a few years in the limelight, and for some reason, most of them are mostly young guys.

Willy Paul and Bahati

Some of the controversial gospel artistes in Kenya include; Willy Paul, Ringtone Apoko, L Jay Maasai, Bahati, who started out as one of the youngest and most humble singers in Kenya, former gospel group MOG, Jimmy Gait and others.

But this doesn’t mean that all the artistes in the Kenyan gospel industry have been stained with scandals, and it’s time we separated the wheat from the chaff. Here are 10 Kenyan gospel artistes who have maintained a good public image by staying away from controversies.

1. Kelele Takatifu

They are the biggest gospel group in Kenya, known for using humour in their songs to pass Christian messages across better, especially for the young peeps. Didi and Moji have kept low profiles off the camera and keep their private lives off the public radar, and of course staying away from trouble.

The Mwanake hitmaker is one of the most humble gospel artistes and coming from a poverty stricken background, Benachi has never let fame get into his head. Just once when people speculated he had a love affair with Akothee, allegations he vehemently refuted, saying he had a longtime girlfriend, now wife.

3. Rufftone

Not only is she gorgeous but also very witty and religious. The mellow voiced singer has driven men crazy with her beauty but never will you hear any scandals about her. Joyce got married to Citizen TV’s sports reporter Waihiga Mwaura back in December 2015.

8. Emmy Kosgei

The Kalenjin singer and songwriter rose to popularity for singing in her native language, and coming from a Christian family where the father is a pastor. Through the fame and money, she has managed to stay away from scandals, though some people criticised her when she got married to an older Nigerian man.

9. Gloria Muliro

She is one of the most loved gospel artistes in Kenya, and over the years, Gloria Muliro has proved to be one of the best in the music scene, with some of the best gospel songs ever. Muliro has managed to keep away controversies from her life, which was one of the reasons she came out to reveal her separation from ex-hubby to clear the air on her relationship to avoid rumours.

9. Alice Kamande

The gospel singer oozes elegance from head to toe, with a soft, mellow voice, not forgetting her dancing skills. But through the years, Alice Kamande has maintained a low profile when it comes to her personal life and always avoids drama and scandals.

Here Is A List Of Secular Artistes Who Are More Gospel Than The Gospel Artistes

The Kenyan gospel industry has drastically changed over the years to something many people don’t seem to understand. The quality, or rather the mode of music writing is not so appealing and it’s pretty confusing. It has adopted a lot of pop culture influences any you often cannot tell a gospel song apart from a club banger.

A while back, gospel music was ever uplifting with messages that related to many people’s lives and what we go through and parents even taught their kids the ways of the world through such songs. I for one feel blessed to have been born in an era where gospel music was full of teachings and the music still speaks to me to date.

The likes of Gloria Muliro, Eunice Njeri, Christina Shusho, Reuben Kigame, Esther Wahome and The Kasangas (although this generation would not know who these are), have over the past released music that is touching and that can be related to in every aspect. These are people we can gladly say, know exactly what they are doing in the industry and whom we can call gospel artistes.

Over the years, everything has changed and many artistes who claim to be gospel artistes have been releasing more of club banging music rather than music that speaks to the soul. Some of the newbies in the industry have clearly just messed everything up in the name of releasing music that is understood by the current generation.

Many have got it all wrong and are hiding behind the name ‘gospel music’, not understanding what comes with it.

For about a week now, Willy Paul and Size 8 have been victims of public scrutiny after they released a song dubbed ‘Tiga Wana’.

READ: DJ Mo comes out to defend wife Size 8 after she was viciously attacked over her new song ‘Tiga Wana’

Critics have branded their song as pure secular with many claiming it has no meaning. After all, mentioning God like three times in a song doesn’t necessarily make it a gospel song. Of course, their close friends were quick to defend them from the wrath of social media.

Of late, secular artistes have been releasing music that actually falls in the gospel category and many have related tremendously to the songs. The likes of Collo Mfalme, Nyashinski and Sauti Sol among others are a perfect example of such artistes.

Collo has been a music guru from way back when he was a member of the all male rap trio, Kleptomaniax. The members later on went their separate ways to focus on solo careers. He made it public a few months ago that he has turned a new leaf and he’s now saved. He even went ahead and released a song dubbed ‘Bazokizo’ which is a dance song and many have loved it and the feedback is positive. Considering he has been in the industry for years, he is bound to show everyone who the Mfalme is.

Nyashinski was also a member of Kleptomaniax. He then moved to US. After returning home, he came back with a bang releasing ‘Now You Know’. He later on did a song that has been played over and over again on TV and radio. The song ‘Mungu Pekee’ has been well received by music lovers and the message is pretty clear. The song clearly is inspiring in every aspect.

Sauti Sol

Sauti Sol have been driving us nuts with their music. The moment they hit the stage, they always cook up something that all of us are amazed by. But then they went ahead and released a song ‘Kuliko Jana’ that has been warmly received by their fans. The minute you hear that song, you heart warms up and you feel at ease. It inspires you and gives you butterflies. It’s like God is speaking to you face to face.

These three artistes have done better songs that can be categorized as gospel than most of our artistes in the gospel industry have done. So what could the problem be? Are we hungry for money and fame forgetting what we are supposed to do? Or are they genuinely in the industry for the art and to truly inspire their fans?

You be the judge of that!

Gloria Muliro’s Ex-Husband Eric Omba Is A Bitter And Angry Man. Find Out Why

Popular Gospel singer Gloria Muliro has been separated from her husband and former manager, Pastor Eric Omba, for almost 13 months and things seem to be going very well for her.

She has been releasing songs and tracks which all become hits receiving massive airplay from local TV and radio stations. She has also had a massive physical transformation and looks more beautiful, healthy and is glowing more than ever, which means she has moved on and is happy.

Gloria Muliro married Pastor Eric Omba Miko back in 2009 in a colorful wedding, but walked out of the marriage, claiming he was a control freak who was cheating on her and misusing her money.

On the other hand, her estranged husband Eric Omba doesn’t seem bothered by the allegations and has been posting posts on his social media that are suggestive, including an old photo, where he is seen hanging out with groupies he has been accused of cheating with back when he was married to Gloria.

This time round, the controversial pastor, video and music producer has taken to his Facebook to rant about the media, blaming it for the negative publicity and bad reports he has been getting.

In the post, Omba admits to having made mistakes in the past, and is upset that people still hold it against him despite being a mentor to youth and his charity work.

Here is the bitter post;

Hi Am Eric Omba .I support Children’s Homes,Supporting some Youths who are addictate to alcohol, drugs Etc…. through the word of God and I support Upcoming gospel musicians, by Shooting their video and promote them for free AND NONE HAS NOTICED THAT and Publish it How I give back to the community especially to the less fortunate .
But when I commit one single Mistake ,TV ,News papers , Bloggers the whole world Know & Publish it in Negative way.

Sorry Pastor Omba, Gloria Muliro Has Moved On

News of Gloria Muliro’s separation from her Congolese husband Pastor Omba made headlines in January this year. Gloria who is one of the most successful gospel artists opened up about the ups and downs that led to their split in an interview with a local daily. Pastor Omba was accused of mismanaging Gloria’s career, infidelity as well as making claims to property that was not his.

Omba who doubles up as the video editor at Spotlight Media —linked the media reports to his “haters” saying that God does not allow Christians to marry twice.

“Get this from me. Marriage is a secret institution that God himself established and He is jealous with it. We marry once (and) for all. There is no second marriage as a true Christian. For those who think marriage is like changing cloths, I am not blaming them, because they are not saved and they don’t know Biblical principles,” he said on a Facebook post in July.

It seems his efforts of trying to win back his former wife Gloria has bore no fruits. Speaking for the first time after the breakup on KTN’s Tukuza show, Gloria Muliro said that there was no future for her and her estranged husband and she was moving on with her life.

Why did it take her five years to move out of the union despite her friends warning her about it? Gloria said that she was trying to make the marriage work and when she did all she could to save it and it didn’t work, it was time.

“One of the things I appreciate and will never take for granted is peace. One time, I remember asking to understand how peace feels like. I was lost, but God found me and I have collected myself. The person you are looking at now is very different now,”Gloria Muliro said as quoted by Standard Digital.

Gloria Muliro’s Ex-Husband Says He Still Loves Her

Gospel  singer Gloria Muliro’s ex-husband, Pastor Eric Omba, has dismissed rumours that he is set to take in another wife, eights months after their controversial split.

Omba  who doubles up as the video editor at Spotlight Media — has linked the media reports to his “haters” but has decided to tell them off. He says as a true Christian, God doesn’t allow him to marry twice.

“Get this from me. Marriage is a secret institution that God himself established and He is jealous with it. We marry once (and) for all. There is no second marriage as a true Christian. For those who think marriage is like changing cloths, I am not blaming them, because they are not saved and they don’t know Biblical principles,” he said on a Facebook post.
