1. Joey Muthengi and Holy Dave

Joey was an artist specifically rapping. She’s however dropped it to become a great TV Presenter, MC and host while her brother Holy Dave is an artist and presenter in the Kenyan gospel music industry.

2. Madtraxx and Dj Stylez

 Madtraxx is part of the Kansoul, he was an independent artiste dropping one hit song after another. While his brother DJ Stylez,  has been in showbiz for a long time now as a DJ and has built his entertainment and motorbike empire.

There are some little known facts about your favorite celebrity that you may not know, for instance their siblings who are also famous int heir own right.

1. Joey Muthengi and David Muthengi

This two were definitely born for the screens. The brother and sister duo are not only TV presenters, but are also talented artistes with David going by the stage name Holy Dave.

She says

“The person you see here today has had many lives before who I am today. My passion was actually sports. I was a very big athlete back in the day, and I actually qualified for the ’96 Olympics.

“I used to love, soccer, football and basketball. At the same time, I also wanted to be a game changer and help people, because if you are in a position where you can help, just help because it doesn’t cost you anything.”

Nana’s love for alcohol started when she joined a university back in America,she says

“My first year at the university in America was very rocky, and that is where my everything fell apart. I was an addict of alcohol but I was able to go to rehab and from there, it’s been 19 years without drinking.”

“It definitely builds character because it takes a lot of strength to acknowledge that you have a problem, whatever it is. Getting out of it is something I am happy about because most people do not manage.”

Nana was among the lucky few who have been able to fight addiction,just yesterday local comedian Eric Omondi lost his brother Joseph Omondi who has been battling drug addiction since his high school days.

The laid back damsel has made something meaningful out of her life given the fact that she is currently supporting local artistes by giving them a chance to showcase their talent.

The initiative, dubbed ‘KICC Mini-Art Gallery’, will give upcoming artistes an opportunity to showcase their art including photographs, paintings, drawings, illustrations,  mosaics and sketches among others, providing them with access to guests, both domestic and international, attending meetings and conferences at the facility.

Comedian Eric Omondi opens up on big brother battling drug addiction

Eric Omondi recently let his fans into his private life of the struggles his big brother is going through fighting drug addiction .

The first born among four siblings has been battling addiction since his high school days and it is obvious they have taken a toll on him and his health.

The witty comedian took to his instagram page to share his story below;

“If you are a young person and you follow this account.. This is for you!!! This is my blood brother Joseph Omondi(Same father same mother)… He is the First born, I am the second born… Our third born is Irene Omondi and the last born is Fred Omondi. Joseph has struggled with drug addiction since high school… He has been in and out of rehabilitation. We have tried our best as a family.”

Eric goes ahead to explain of how drug addiction has affected his brother and what is the way foward.He adds,

“Because of his addiction he has a tendency to run away from us to avoid Rehabilitation. I tracked him yesterday through a taxi guy who spotted him in Nairobi downtown along Nyandarua Road. @chipukeezy and Nacada have promised to help him.”

His advice to the youth is,

‘Even After We Became Orphans You Stood By Me,’ Cries Eric Omondi’s Brother

Eric Omondi’s brother and fellow comedian, Fred Omondi showered his elder brother with a heartfelt message as he celebrated his birthday on Friday.

Fred took to his Instagram page to praise his ‘role model’ for the role he has played in his life since their childhood especially after the two lost their parents, with Eric Omondi holding his hand through life’s hardships.

The celebrated comedian is currently in Zanzibar where he is enjoying his birthday weekend with his gorgeous girlfriend Chantal Grazioli.
