Nameless and Wahu are one of Kenya’s most famous celebrity couple that have managed to hold things down despite numerous rumours about divorce and infidelity allegations.

It’s almost a decade into their marriage and they have proved critics wrong as they continue to be inlove and support each other plus their two daughters.

Flashback Friday: Jose Chameleone As A Young Boy

Uganda’s top artist Joseph Mayanja better known by his stage name Jose Chameleone just turned 36 in April. The singer’s most popular hit songs are  Tubonge, Valu Valu, Wale Wale and is an absolute favorite on the Classic 105 playlist.

He is one artist who remembers the efforts he has made in becoming one of the best East African artists. Chameleone who was in Kenya last week recording for Coke Studio season 3 shared a flashback photo of himself as a young boy with the caption “I had a dream to a star. Today I am the, LEONE ISLAND MUSIC EMPIRE C.E.O”

#FlashBackFriday Necessary Noize

Necessary Noize was one of the first hip-hop music groups in Kenya, formed in the year 2000, it’s members included Nazizi Hirji the only female in the group, singer Kevin Wyre and rapper Bamzigi.

However Bamzigi later left due to personal and label disputes. Wyre and Nazizi remained and later worked and released the album Kenyan girl|Kenyan Boy in 2004.

Their music was based on social issues affecting the Kenyan youth including drugs and H.I.V.
