Former Prime minister Raila Odinga’s last born daughter, Winnie Odinga has turned 30 years old.
Winnie chose to dedicate her special day to her late brother Fidel Odinga who died under unclear circumstances on January 4, 2015.
Taking it to Twitter, Winnie remembered her brother saying;
“On a day like this I think deeply about my brother.
As I celebrate another year around the sun, I pray for eternal guidance.
Rest peacefully bro, I’ve finally reached #Detty30,”
Winnie was close to the late Fidel whom she referred to as being a protective brother.

His family commemorate the death of their son in special ways.
In January last year, Ida Odinga, the wife to Former Prime minister shared on her social media pages as a special tribute to their son:
She wrote;
“Today like many days is full of fond memories of you.
A loving son, a protective brother, a doting father and a loyal friend.
Today is always painful because once more it is a reminder that life is sometimes rough although we were blessed with years with you, our time together will never be enough.
For you were someone special who was thought so highly of and we will always remember you with affection, warmth and love.
Rest peacefully.”
