Rihanna covers next months British Vogue magazine where she admits she never wants to lose her famously ‘thick’ figure.
The songstress is known for showing off her curves, advocating for body confidence.
In the Vogue interview, Rihanna reveals She is proud to be a woman in the industry with ‘a butt and thighs’.
Rihanna, 30, told the magazine she feels confident with her frame, and hopes she remains strong rather than skinny when she starts her new exercise regime.
During the interview she said:
‘I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some but not all. ‘
She went ahead and added:
‘And I think of my boobs, like, ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes!’ But, you know, it comes with a price. You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.’
Rihanna often turns heads with her killer figure; in her music videos, recent film and red carpet appearances.
Having been in the limelight since 2005, Riri mentioned her attitude to life in the public eye has completely changed over the years, and she is now more wary of who she keeps close.
‘I’m very picky about friends,’ she explained.
‘I don’t like to open myself up to everyone and so when you find people who are great and loyal, you don’t want to let go of that.’
Most noteworthy, Rihanna is said to be the first black woman to grace the cover of British Vogue’s September issue.
