Among those who have penned touching messages is Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris.

Esther Passaris wrote,

We have not only lost a great leader but also a good man. Hon. Ken Okoth had nothing but love for everyone he encountered and all who sought his guidance and mentorship. He inspired.

He was forthright. He was a shoulder even when he needed a shoulder. He effortlessly etched a beautiful mark in my soul.

Rest my brother. Rest. You were loved beyond measure because you loved beyond measure.

‘We are with you’ Janet Mbugua joins Passaris in supporting Akothee

Janet Mbugua has finally joined Nairobi Women’s Representative, Esther Passaris in showing her support for Akothee, even as she continues trending.

This came after Esther Passaris blasted one of Akothee’s harshest critics in a vicious Twitter war after he stated that Akothee’s private parts were visible during a performance.

“My priest tried to penetrate me from behind,”cries city woman

Responding to Akothee’s post Janet wrote

He’s ignorant. And he’s sexist. @akotheekenya you’ve stirred up a great debate and discussion about this whole ‘morality’ thing and many of us are with you 🙌🏾

‘Akothee’s private parts were exposed only in your mind’ Shouts Passaris

Akothee seems to have earned a soft spot in the hearts of many Kenyan leaders among them, Esther Passaris, who is Nairobi’s Women Representative.

Just days after being called a bad influence, Esther Passaris has hit out at one of Akothee’s critics whom she did not name. The critic had insinuated that the singer’s cookie jar was visible during a performance.

The critic responded to Akothee’s supporters maintaining his stance and not budging one inch.

‘My husband must smell my cookie jar every day after work,’ woman cries

But Passaris, like Akothee, replied to the critic’s remark saying:

You have a sick mind. Her private part was exposed only in your mind. On stage I saw her sexy dance moves, her flexibility and her confidence in her skin.

You saw her vagina through her costume and double stockings. You need help my brother. You need help.”

“My priest tried to penetrate me from behind,”cries city woman

As you might expect, the singer has also responded to the remarks, her main concern being how the critic saw her cookie jar yet he did not attend the concert?

“Sambary saw p#ssy on stage that he was not present? Sambary say Amen @esthermpassaris 🙋🙋”

We can only wait and see how this drama unfolds. Drop your feedback in the comment section on whether Passaris is right in defending Akothee’s behaviour.

Esther Passaris’s 53rd birthday is not one she is likely to forget

On October 20th as Kenyans were marking Mashujaa day, Nairobi woman representative Esther Passaris was celebrating turning 53-years-old, with patients at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Mama taa as she is popularly referred to, chose to celebrate her birthday with patients at the accident ward at KNH.

She personally handed out cake to the patients, and yes..she was careful not to give to diabetic patients, so relax. She said so herself.

She also handed out a special surprise to a young girl, who had one request during the campaigns. The cute young girl wanted a phone, and Esther Passaris gladly gave it out to her.

She also spent the afternoon at Imani rehabilitation centre in Kayole

Here are photos of her big day.

Shebesh And Passaris Better Watch Out! Proof That Maina Kageni Could WIN The Nairobi Woman Representative Seat

Celebrated radio personality Maina Kageni shocked fans when he revealed that he is venturing into politics, and he wasn’t going for an MP or senator seat, but a rather very interesting position.

Maina Kageni announced that he would be running for the Nairobi Woman Representative seat where he would be competing against NASA’s Esther Passaris and Jubilee’s Rachel Shebesh aka ‘Manzi Wa Nairobi’.

The top radio presenter is known for his unwavering support for his female listeners, and when it comes to relationship issues and topics, Maina Kageni is known to take their side and defend them all the way.

His co-host Mwalimu King’ang’i prefers to take the men’s side and if you listen to the breakfast show, you know that Maina’s moniker name is actually ‘Woman Rep’.

When Maina Kageni made the important announcement that he would be running for this seat, he said that he wanted to represent women and have their voices heard, eliciting mixed reactions.

But does Maina Kageni really have fans out there who would actually vote for him? Well, a Nairobi county opinion polls shows that Maina is among the top three candidates who would be voted in.

The research byTrends and Insights For Africa (TIFA), revealed that Maina Kageni garnered 1% of voters, as Esther Passaris topped with 57%  and Shebesh getting 25% of the voters, but a 15% are still undecided.

This means that if Maina Kageni would actually campaign and put more effort in pushing for this seat he could probably win this race, keeping in mind the undecided voters.

Check out the results below as Nairobians gave their preference for Woman Rep 2017.

Enemies To Friends: Esther Passaris Shows Her Caring, Mature Side By Visiting AILING Shebesh In Hospital (PHOTOS)

Rachael Shebesh, the current Nairobi Woman Representative for Nairobi County has been unwell and hospitalized, which explains her absence on the political scene in the last few days.

The Jubilee Party member has been nursing a leg injury and actually, she was presented with her nomination certificate while still in her hospital bed.

Rachel Shebesh shared a photo while receiving her nomination, with a warm message that read;

Today I received my Jubilee Certificate in Nairobi Hospital where I am recuperating from a leg injury. Thank you Nairobians for your continued support

This is when her fans finally knew what was keeping the ‘Mama Wa Nai’ away from the political activities, which are at their peak.

Rachel Shebesh is set to go head to head with Esther Passaris aka Mama Taa, who is also an aspirant for the Nairobi Women Rep chair in this year’s election.

Despite their varied opinion and parties, Esther Passaris showed her mature side as she took upon herself to visit the ailing politician, putting aside all political rivalry.

Esther Passaris shared photos with Rachel Shebesh on her hospital bed, proving that politics cannot come in between true friendship and girl power.

The ODM party nominee put the photo as they hugged and smiled while looking at the camera, with a sweet caption that read;

Earlier this afternoon, I paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Shebesh who is recuperating. My supporters and I wish you a full recovery.

This gesture attracted a lot of attention from Kenyans, who took to social media to congratulate Esther Passaris on her political maturity and her sense of responsibility.

She even explained why she brought her Chevra after a fan asked: “Yes. It’s what she craved. Indian sweet chevra. I like taking patients what they desire not the norm- fruits, flowers, lucozade, chocolate.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto also visited Rachel Shebesh in the hospital, which got her by surprising, putting a smile on her face: “Your kindness cannot be measured or expressed in words. You visited me by my bedside. What a pleasant surprise!”

Jeff Koinange said, “About a week ago, we had a programme that deteriorated into something extremely ugly. Where two guests went at each others throats. It was out of control. There are people out there who thought I should have done a better job in controlling the guests. And I agree. Looking back, probably, hindsight is always 20-20 and in a live broadcast it is always difficult but I agree. I’m man enough, to man up to that and if there is anyone who was aggrieved by the show, anyone who felt it was not up to par, I did not do a good job, I apologise, so that we can move on. It was regrettable in most parts, but then again it was one show out of 300 shows we have done here at KTN for the last 3 years, 300 shows. It was regrettable.”

After the apology, Jeff Koinange them announced that it will be the last Jeff Koinange Live show on KTN.
