Man accused of killing his wife was actively involved in church projects

Speaking about it Halle Berry expressed her utter shock at how cruel people can be to hurt such a person who has not wronged them.

“I’ve known Jussie since he was 10 years old, and a man of @JussieSmollett’s talent, intellect and kindness should be an undisputed blessing to our community. My heart is hurting knowing that he’s suffering…and for what? Just for being? The fact his presence on this earth would be perceived as a threat to anyone only shows the magnitude of their fear and confusion.

I pray that our country learns to heal, that we may see each other for WHO we are and nothing more. We gotta find the LOVE yawl! Praying endlessly for Jussie’s quick recovery at Northwestern Memorial. Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central Detectives at 312-747-8382″

‘Empire’ Star Terrence Howard Secretly Divorced Third Wife

Forget watching “Empire” — these days the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding the popular Fox series is a lot more interesting than anything happening on the show. For example, a recent court hearing revealed that “Empire” star Terrence Howard might have more in common with his character, villainous record producer Lucious Lyon, than fans would think, exposing a recent divorce from his third wife and allegations of suicide threats and drug use.

According to the New York Daily News, a court hearing Monday to settle Howard’s second divorce from ex-wife Michelle Ghent revealed that Howard, 46, was also newly divorced from his third wife, Mira Pak, 38. The couple reportedly secretly filed for divorce on July 27 citing irreconcilable differences. They have apparently been living separately since August 2014; their son Qirin Love Howard was born in May.

The court proceedings also shed light on scandalous behavior during Howard’s marriage to Ghent. According to People magazine, the couple regularly used marijuana, cocaine and Ecstasy together, and engaged in a threesome. Plus, Howard reportedly made multiple threats of suicide to Ghent during their marriage and allegedly accused his ex-wife of threatening him with blackmail.

This comes after news that Howard and Ghent’s divorce was revealed to be causing salary headaches for “Empire” and the Fox network. According to TMZ, Fox parent company 21st Century Fox has asked a judge to help determine who will receive Howard’s salary for his work on “Empire.” Howard claims his settlement agreement with Ghent is invalid and, therefore, he should receive the entire amount. However, Ghent asserts that she is entitled to a large portion of that money. Meanwhile, 21st Century Fox remains worried that if it pays the wrong party it could end up losing money by having to pay again to make things right.

Terrence Howard sues ex wife for extortion

One of Empire’s main character’s Luscious aka Terrence Howard has been on an ongoing legal battle with  his ex-wife with whom he was married to for a year.

Terrence Howard says he has hard proof his ex-wife extorted him … threatening to expose details about his genitals to the world unless he paid her handsomely.

TMZ reports that his ex wife Michelle got 5 years  worth of support for a marriage that only lasted a year that is way more than the norm.

Terrence says he agreed to pay her for 5 years because she extorted him, and he says some of it is on tape.

He added on to sat that while they were bickering about the amount of support he’d pay her she threatened to release nude photos and video of him unless she got what she wanted.

In the legal documents filed by his attorney Brian Kramer, Terrence says he secretly recorded her saying, “I can make a good $2 million right now … you want to see your little **** out there in front of TV?”

Terrence says he has her on tape saying she will tell every woman in the world he gave her an STD.

He says she’s also caught on tape saying, “Trust me, you’re f****** with the wrong person. You f***** with me way too much. I will f****** bury you deep in the ground.”

Terrence wants the judge to throw out the settlement agreement so he doesn’t have to pay the balance. The settlement runs for another year, but she’d be entitled to a big chunk of his “Empire” salary, which is expected to swell for season 2.

Why is everyone talking about Empire the TV Series

Empire TV series has become the trending American musical drama that is on everyone’s lips. It is big on the social platforms with love and hatred in equal measure. If you haven’t watched it, you better get on the bandwagon real quick.

The story revolves around a hip hop music and entertainment company run by Lucius Lyon (Terrence Howard) a Hip-hop artist and CEO of Empire Entertainment, his wife Cookie Lyon( Taraji P. Henson) an ex convict, their two talented sons Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) and Jamal (Jussie Smollet), their power hungry first born son Andre ( Trai Byers) the CFO in the company and Anika Calhoun (Grace Gealey) who is Lyon’s fiancée.

A medical prognosis predicts that Lucius has a life threatening disease and has a tough decision to make by deciding between his fame hungry son, the money hungry one who lacks charisma and the gay one with talent, who is to take over as head of the company.

The casting for the show is done to perfection and if the story line doesn’t capture your attention maybe the beautiful people will. If that’s doesn’t cut it for you maybe the fashion sense in the program will, but if that’s not good enough you can learn a thing or two about the disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) that threatens Lyon’s life. Timbaland who is the musical producer of the show also has the perfect play list for you. Catch up with the complete season one of the series.
