Elodie Zone retracts scary abuse claims against musician Nviiri

A few days ago, Vlogger Elodie Zone came out detailing how Sol Generation’s Nviiri the Storyteller abused her physically and emotionally.

The revelations were explosive. Elodie wrote on her social media, “There are videos online of him slamming me against a table and leaving me and my baby cousins at a club past curfew. Cross check with my ‘life is good’ highlight. The first vid.”

Elodie says she had been told to stop speaking up on social media.

“I’ve hidden bruises from my past two relationships. I’ve felt stupid and have been undermined. Inc kept quiet. I’ve been told to stop speaking up on social media cause I’ll look like I’m ‘acting out.’ I’ve been told that depression means you overact.. etc… all are total nonsense. I want men and women in my position to raise their voices! We may be small but our voices cannot be silenced.”

Today morning, Elodie came out to set the record straight.

“Nviiri and I came to coast with our friends to unwind, relax and make peace with each other.”

“When I made my post it was fueled by tension and an afternoon of a few too many drinks. Neither one of us thought it would be blown out of proportion the way it has been. Blogging sites and bloggers have also begun to spread misinformation and this is affecting our careers and family lives.”

“We are both moving forward with full respect and peace and plan on continuing the year focused on our work lives only. Kindly be considerate of the situation and do not send hate to him or myself.”

“I’m sorry if this has painted us to be something we aren’t. Good content, clothing and music will continue coming from us and our teams.”

Nviiri finally responds after Elodie Zone accused him of abusing her

YouTuber and Influencer Elodie Zone shocked many Kenyans yesterday with some explosive remarks concerning musician Nviiri the Storyteller.

She accused the Afrosol singer of being abusive in their relationship. The model who is at the Coast, started a series of Instagram stories that featured Nviiri, showing them landing at the airport.

On Sunday night, Elodie, in a QnA session, officially confirmed that she is not dating the singer, alleging that he has been abusive towards her.

“Physical, mental, verbal and emotional abuse towards women is unacceptable! I want to make it clear that I am NOT dating Nviiri. We just met at the Coast, but the reason that I left him is the same reason that has come up as we are ‘respectful friends’. I’ve worked too damn hard as a woman to love myself. To be confident.”

Elodie added that she has decided that she doesn’t owe any ‘boy’ anything. When asked whether it was Nviiri who had left her stranded at a party a few months ago, she said,

“Yup. January 1st. There are videos online of him slamming me against a table and leaving me and my baby cousins at a club past curfew. Cross-check with ‘my life is good’ highlight. The first vid,” she confirmed.

The rumours going across social media were that the ‘friend’ who had been accused, was Nviiri as the two had been rumored to be dating.

In a March interview at Kiss 100 with Kamene and Jalas, Nviiri squashed the allegations saying that it was not him being addressed in Elodie’s post.

“It is definitely not me because I like dealing with my issues at home. I do not know who she was talking about. The thing is we break up and makeup so it is what it is,” said Nviiri.

He added in May, “We have been friends for eight years. We kept our relationship a secret for months without telling people we were dating. We needed to understand ourselves, are we strong enough for the public because they can be ruthless.”Our decision was to keep it low until we were ready to announce it. It affects our brands in a way…will I still continue being Nviiri the ladies’ man, bwana pombe sigara, single man? Dynamics change. And for her, will she continue being the same role model? By the time people came to find out about it, we were already confident about our relationship.”

Nviiri has now spoken about the new allegations and all he had to say was, “For everyone asking, NIKO SAWA, thank you for reaching out.”

The closest person to me left me in a position I could have died-Elodie Zone narrates

Youtuber Elodie Zone and former fling of hunk Sean Andrew related a horrible weekend assault that left her traumatized.

The incident she said happened after her male friend threw her out of the car and left her on the highway to find her way home, way after the 11 pm curfew.

“Ladies, have friends and be with a man that will protect you. You never want to hit the ground unsure of who will and won’t be there to catch you. My experience last night was an eye-opener. The closest person to me left me in a position where I could have died. I would never wish that on anyone!”

Don’t spend your time on earth being watered down, all in the name of ‘wanting people to like you.’ Often times we find ourselves in situations where we want to be overly expressive but silence speaks on our behalf because the thought of looking “childish” is scary. Being sad is human nature but we’ve learned to suppress it due to fear of looking “weak.” As people, we’re so obsessed with having other people like us that we take it a step further….we don’t just ignore our emotions, we change our character, study things we aren’t passionate about, work in jobs we hate, pretend to be something we aren’t. Society tells us we need to act a certain way, but it’s all in the name of impressing people that shouldn’t even matter. If there’s one thing I want you to learn from me: be yourself and love yourself. Peoples opinions of you are none of your business.

She later added,

“Finally home safe. had a really bad ending to the night yesterday. Nairobi is so dangerous! I thank God for my life. I genuinely didn’t think I’d make it to see this day. Imagine having to pick between sexual assault, death or both. I’m completely drained.”

After a lot of concern from friends and fans, Elodie narrated how a night out partying turned dark and dreary.

“Hey, a lot of you have been asking what happened to me the other night. I don’t wanna go into too much detail, but after an event in Westlands, a friend was drunk and he left me on the side of the road past curfew after a fight.”

In every woman’s life there comes a time when she has to make a choice between pleasing herself or the world. My time came at the beginning of the year and, well, you guessed it…I chose myself. No more working for people that don’t see my value. No more answering phone calls from people that are looking for something. No more negative energy and no more self doubt. My mental and physical state when I took this photo last year is on the opposite side of the spectrum from where it is now. Yes, I now say no to the world, but the journey so far has given me much more because within me lives the universe. • #spiritualawakening #spirituality #spiritual #universe #energy #frequency #vibrations

She continued,

“As I walked home cops found me and began harassing me. I called the friend to help me moments before my phone died and he never came back. I saw him turn the car around and drive right past me. The cops (3 men) began to physically grab me before forcing me into a car. We drove around lavington for a while before a stranger came to my rescue.”

She finished off by saying,

“We always hear such scary stories about things that happen to girls and it reached a point in the car where I had to prepare myself mentally for anything. i thank god for the stranger that saved me that night. they are truly an angel on earth.”
