Dr Ofweneke might be only 30-years-old at the moment but that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t amassed an impressive CV so far.
But that doesn’t mean that the father of 3 is resting on his laurels yet. In a recent interview with him, I asked the comedian what he wanted his legacy to be like.
His answer was well-thought-out, with the man sharing his poignant dreams on how his desired liegacy. He told me,
“I want the day I walk out of the entertainment industry, I want to be remembered as a brand who genuinely brought smiles into the faces of Kenyans and the world.”
“Who was real enough not to be ashamed to show the world who he was because I am only human. I want to be remembered as the guy who genuinely impacted the world, not only through laughter and my jokes but also through the wisdom in my mind and also using my influence to change the lives of the young people of Kenya and the women of Kenya.”
Ofweneke said that he would go to the extent of joinining politics in the future to achieve his dreams.
“You never know, if I feel that my creative space isn’t giving me enough will to do that, then if worse comes to worse and it means me getting into the political world and doing that, then I will do that when that time comes.”
He reiterated his stance with the wonderful summation below:
“I want to be remembered as brand that made people smile, that made people laugh but spoke not only to the minds and hearts but also to the lives of my fanbase and used my influence to change the live of my generation.”
