‘We can’t allow life to beat us down’ advices music producer Dr Eddy

Weeks after falling from the fourth floor of his balcony, music producer Dr Eddy has every reason to be grateful as he recovers from that traumatic episode.

The accident left many shocked since no one knew the extent of the damage. In an earlier post on his Instagram, he wrote the post below to clarify things and explain what happened. He said

“Hello family… I thought it right to set the record straight as there are lots of speculations about my state of affairs…. On Thursday 31st May night, I had an accident at home where I slipped and fell from my 4th floor balcony and hence by the grace of God managed to narrowly escape death… This however had me sustain several injuries where I had a shattered pelvic bone and other multiple fractures…

I underwent a successful reconstructive surgery at the Coptic hospital where I’m still hospitalized and getting better by the day…
I would like to thank everyone of my family, friends, and fans who have come out in large numbers to visit, encourage and also make sure I don’t lack anything and I’m taken care of fully without any problems….
God bless you all…”

Dr Eddy took to his Instagram page to write the post below to encourage someone going through a hard time followed by a recent photo of him as he recovers. He wrote

“Sometimes we fall, sometimes we stumble, but we can’t stay down. We can’t allow life to beat us down. Everything happens for a reason, and it builds character in us, and it tells us what we are about and how strong we really are when we didn’t think we could be that strong… #recovery

We wish him a quick recovery.

“It runs in the family. It is genetic.”

The musician has collaborated with musicians such as Amani, Patonee, Sanaipei Tande and even though he is no longer in the limelight his songs still remind of the good old days.
