DK Kwenye Beat has been making headlines this week after a lady exposed him of allegedly infecting her with Herpes.
Now, a disgraced DK Kwenye Beta spoke to Size 8 in a video interview yesterday where he revealed that lust is rampant in the gospel music industry.
However, he did not address the rumours that he had infected a 20-year-old college student with an STI nor did he address the threesome rumours.
“It is not only me [struggling with sexual sin], we the ministers that have been called to the gospel, our biggest problem is the devil that is following the ministers in the world,”DK said.
He continued, “Me being one of the artistes at the top [of the gospel music industry] I know because the devil has been providing ways for us to get into lust and immorality.”
“Sharing groupies in the gospel industry is a rampant practice, the gospel singers even share notes and give pointers on who they can get easily. So if one of them is infected with an STI, the body count will be monumental,” an industry insider who requested not to be named told Classic 105
DK Kwenye Beat has since come out to apologize for having a threesome after screenshots of his conversation with the 20-year-old leaked online.
“I think last year is when I realized I was fired but I was still at work. Last year [November] is when I decided to walk in the will of God. I started my journey again with the Lord.”
In a social media post he also apologised to his girlfriend, Shanice.
“I would wish to apologize to my girlfriend who has been nothing but supportive to me, especially during this difficult season. I would also wish to apologize to the church fraternity, my family, everyone who consumes my music and anyone who looks up to me I am Sorry.”
“I am not a perfect man. I am a fallen man but one that God is working on every day. I am a changed man from what I was back then. I am working my salvation with fear and trembling. Sadly this story has come out when I am on my way to complete reformation.”
There are also numerous audio recordings of his conversation with the girl where he is propositioning her on what sex styles she loves, begging her to come over among other lewd remarks.
About the story leaking, he said,
“What I can confirm is, whatever happened yesterday [the story leaking] It may seem as if I will blame the blogs but I thank God for the blogs. Whatever happened has brought me into the public for me to change my generation. I will be the sacrificial sheep for this generation. I will use the attention [I’m getting] to reach more souls and change lives. “It may look like shame for me today but it is changing lives. So I don’t take it as shame.”
Gospel artiste DK Kwenye Beat recently opened up about how he has been handling cyber bullying and ridicule especially due to his weight.
He has on a few times been trolled over his excess weight with some people even making memes, speaking candidly on Switch TV he says
“People have been having issues with my weight, they rebuke me without love all they have is hate,Me being a celeb and I am facing all this just imagine for someone who is not known.
Career wise I have not been affected, I decided to take that attention and put into something positive,On dealing with trolls I have learnt to keep quiet because the people out there have nothing to lose thus when you engage them they enjoy it.”
“Once you are a public figure people feel like they have a right over you, what people should understand is that today might be me but the next time it might be your dad, your sister or even your mum so treat people good.”
He narrates some of the mean things people have said
“Niliambiwa nimemeza asusu, nafaa nicustomiziwe matress,Viti za kwangu zinafaa kua za chuma.I joined the gym after being told I am obese and it was now a medical issue.I did not join because of what people say.
The disadvantage of my size is that even getting clothes is hard and expensive, even in public matatus one is told to pay for two.”

Well Classic’s Nick Mudimba caught up with the musician and interviewed him about hitting the gym now that he has been body-shamed, and his 2018 plans for music.
Nick: It’s been a long journey for you and I can see you have brought along Hopekid. Big Up. What’s happening Hopekid?
Hopekid: unajua alikuwa amepotea kwa hii industry. So hakuwa anakumbuka wasee wengine. Naenda nikimkumbusha.
Nick: so nigospel munaimba sindio? Kijana wa Kayole is an amazing song, and of course you’ve been trying to give us some tidbits about it. Tell us about it.
DK: This is a song that people should know where I’m coming from. And also to motivate and encourage the guys from that area. You know they are committed into drugs and such, but the good thing is that you can make it in life, without going the other side of it, but in the right way. So me being one of them, it’s just something that shows that you can make it.
Nick: ati watu wanasema ati DK aende gym, DK ainue chuma. All these things bwana. Gym gani utaenda, gym gani itakuweza?
DK: Unajua kila mtu akona different view on kila mtu ako na weight, nini, and you know the best thing my fans wanaona maybe inaweza affect my health na vitu kama hizo. But kama kitu hamjui ni niko mzuri sana.
Nick: One thing people don’t know is that nimekaa na DK kwa hoteli and and it’s not business as usual, things happen, things happen my friend
DK: unachoma Nick, …moves food eh?
Nick: so DK what next for you?
DK: I thnk what I can tell my fans is the best is yet to come. But this year it will be back to back. You know, I’ve been quiet for sometime, but I’m back now.
Nick: What do you think about the current crop of gospel artistes?
DK: I think to be honest maybe we’ve lost it one way or another.
Nick: are you one of them?
DK: I cannot say they have lost it, coz I’m still in the same generation, so we’ve lost it in one way or another. But the good thing is that people have realised and we are back on course and we’re ready to transform the gospel to the next level.

Do you remember gospel singer Bahati’s song ‘Lover’? It was amazing wasn’t it? The producer behind the song is a talented guy by the name Patrick Saint P Mbaru. Lover was the first song that the two have done together.
He is known for his work in the gospel industry and has worked with musicians to produce songs such as Lover by Bahati, Sari Sari by DK Kwenye Beat featuring Anto Neo Soul. He is also behind Me and My House by Eko Dydda, I Live For You by BMF, Manyunyu by Jimmy Gait and Rufftone.
Dear mafisilets poleni, it seems that Patrick Mbaru Kazungu may be off the market if the photos on his social media are anything to go by.
The soft spoken music producers partner is Wangari Munyua. The handsome music producer took to his Instagram page to break the news with a loving post.
Love is colourful.
As much as it is in black n white.
And most of all like chemistry, it consists of elements and compounds that when put together, even in not obvious of places, it will still be seen.
I’m glad that I can testify, if truely it is Devine then…
I present to you the connection that has managed to unplug the comfort zone.
If this is the epitome of a love story only told in dreams and fairy tales… Then we live in the reality.
The red roses and candles in the photo below tell he is a romantic guy. So sweet.
