The Biggest Valentine’s Concert Went Down At KICC With SWV & Blackstreet (EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS)

So this happened…..the Sisters With Voices (SWV) and Blackstreet rocked the stage at KICC last night. And of course, we were there to catch all the action.

Singing hit songs such as ‘Weak’, I’m So Into You’ and ‘We Right Here,’ the crowd couldn’t get enough of these beautiful ladies. Singing along to their old school tracks was the name of the game and Blackstreet’s performance was on fire with their hit track ‘No Diggity‘ leaving the crowd in a state of euphoria. Let’s just say that when ‘Money Can’t Me Love’ was performed, a lot of so called lovers realised that it’s true in the sense that you may love someone or just love their money.

Well, without further ado, check out the exclusive photos below;

Garissa University Memorial concert

After the death of 148 people both students and security officers following the grisly attack at the Garissa University college, activists, artists, poets, friends, families, colleagues and Kenyans from all walks of life gathered at the freedom corner at Uhuru park gardens for a memorial concert.

The memorial was organised by Boniface Mwangi and friends who got overwhelming support from corporates and other well wishers.

The concerts saw perfomances by poets who recited their pieces of spoken word, singer Amos and Josh performed their song Baadaye alongside Rabbit as a tribute to the fallen.

Some of the performances brought the crowd to tears despite the fact that some of the attendees were not familiar with any of the victims but chose to stand with their families and friends.

There was a board that had 148 masks with names representing each of the victims of the attack.

#KOT Roast Davido’s Concert Last Night

Davido is trending on twitter thanks to #KOT. The Kenyans on twitter are criticising Davido for what they consider was a flimsy performance at Carnivore, Saturday night.

Allegedly, Davido only performed for 12 minutes, which according to #KOT is shorter than an Instagram video. Those who attended Davido’s concert are being blamed for not supporting local talent case in point Rabbit held an album launch Friday night and performed for 2 hours for a mere Sh2,000 while Davido’s tickets were up-to Sh8,000 bob.

Trust #KOT to even make fun of the fact that Davido didn’t vote in Nigeria’s elections yesterday.

Check out the hilarious reactions.
