Comedian confesses he was blinded into marrying his wife for her curves and their marriage is over

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder or so the saying goes.

One popular comedian has found himself in a rather awkward situation, after admitting something about his wife.

The Ghanaian comedian named Benson Nana Yawoduro aka Funny face admitted in an interview with the country’s UTV’s Wofa Kwesi, that he married his wife because of her big hips and backside.

Yes the man is secretary general of team mafisi, and his marriage has failed  because he is thirsty.

He was consumed with his wifes well endowed buttocks and blames her for ending their marriage.

He is quoted as saying: ‘I didn’t do my homework well before marrying her, adding that her big buttocks pushed me into marrying her’.

People also whispered to him that she could be seeing other men prompting his to spring into action.

He installed a car tracker in her vehicle over the suspicion she was cheating on him. What he discovered almost made him commit suicide but he restrained himself.

He said: ‘What I’ve been through is worse then killing. I’ve moved on…but I’m hurt, because of the lies people are peddling about me’.

MCA Tricky is without a doubt one of the biggest comedians Kenya boasts of. His style of stand-up comedy is second to none and he has managed to curve a niche for himself thus endearing him to thousands of fans.

The 24-year-old ‘Member of Chokora Assembly’, if you like, broke into the comedy scene about a year ago on Churchill show, where he won many hearts thanks to his witty jokes which surrounds the life of a street urchin and their daily escapades.

To some, he chose the street urchin character because it was super unique little did they know that he once lived on the streets for nearly three years as a young kid.

Speaking to BBC, the comedy star whose first name is Frank uses stand-up comedy to represent those suffering on the streets in his quest to make people understand and respect them as any other human being.

“I decided to represent the street kids, because I want people to respect them. I want them to look at me as their role model.

It’s not about taking them out of the streets physically, but you need to do it mentally. And that is the most difficult thing.”

Now a headliner at the comedy show, MCA tricky revealed that his top notch sense of humor rescued him from the streets after wowing judges when he auditioned for the show a while back.

BBC reports that his unique style which is inspired by his real life experiences has helped him give hope as well as inspire other street children.

He makes people laugh while also offering hope and inspiration to other street children.

He dreams of a day when not a single child will be compelled to sleeping and living on the streets.

Benson Njau aka Mzee Ojwang’ Buried At Langata Cemetery

Veteran Comedian Mzee Ojwang was loved by many and it was quite evident as many people from family, friends, politicians, thespians and members of the public turned up in large numbers  at the Kenya National Theatre  for public viewing.

Mzee Ojwang’ has been an actor for more  30 years and died after a battle with pneumonia earlier this month.

He was laid to rest at the Langata cemetery today after a funeral mass at the Umash funeral home.

Flashback Friday: Was this Mzee Ojwang’s first appearance in Vitimbi?

Kenya lost a great legend Benson Wanjau popularly known as Mzee Ojwang’ in the comedy scene last Sunday. Ojwang’ 78 died while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital where he had been admitted.

While he will be remembered as a great entertainer who graced our screens for over 3 decades he is also remembered for setting the groundwork for modern day comedians.

Ojwang’ started acting on the show Darubini in 1980 but is mostly known for his role in Vitimbi that started airing in 1985.

Comedian Involved In Club Drama With Drunk Girlfriend

A renown local comedian caused a scene at a Nairobi entertainment joint earlier this week after he found his girlfriend dancing with a number of strangers. The Star reports.

The entertainer got so infuriated that he started shouting at the woman as he made his way to the crowded dance floor.

His desperate calls however seemed to fall on deaf ears.

After much pushing and shoving the comedian managed to grab his tipsy sweetheart by the hand and lead her downstairs and out of the club.

The angry man and his inebriated girlfriend then zoomed off towards Mombasa Road.

Anne Kansiime recognized as funniest African comedian

Ugandan Queen of Comedy Anne Kansiime has been recognized as the Most Outstanding African Comedian in Sydney, Australia.

Kansiime received an honorarium award for Outstanding African Comedian at the prestigious Afro Australia Music & Movie Awards in Sydney, Australia.

She  has recently been on a tour to various countries in Africa and the UK which saw a clinic in Zambia named after her and was recently voted  number one among the top 100 Ugandan celebrities by a Ugandan magazine.

Comedian Joan Rivers Dies at age 81

Legendary comedian Joan Rivers died in a Manhattan hospital last night, a week after she went into cardiac arrest during a routine throat procedure.

In a statement, her daughter Melissa says the 81-year-old passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.   

The legendary comedian was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital a week ago after going into cardiac arrest during an outpatient procedure on her vocal chords at another clinic, which is now under investigation. 

She has been at the center of American entertainment since 1965 when she broke out on the Tonight Show.

The mother of one, daughter Melissa, and doting grandmother to Melissa’s son Cooper, has most recently hosted Fashion Police on the E! network.
