Kambua lays her grand mother to rest today.
According to Kambua, her late grandma was the reason their family has a lineage of grace due to her evangelism.
This is my grandmother, Anna Mutheu Nguku Mbinda. On 15/04/2019 her golden heart stopped beating, and today we lay her to rest.
Sūsū was one of the greatest evangelists I have known.
She’d travel far and wide telling people about Jesus. She never learned how to read, or write, but she knew her Bible by heart.
She in turn raised and Evangelist, who raised me. We owe her this powerful lineage of grace.
I will miss this smile, and sparkling eyes. I will miss her voice, the warmth of her hands.Koma nesa sūsū wakwa.
You fought the good fight. You finished the race. Now rest, our beloved. Till we meet at the feet of Jesus, whom you gave your entire life🖤.
Kambua lost her dad Professor Manundu, who used to host a health show on NTV every Sunday morning dubbed Walk in Divine Health in 2014.
He was the proprietor of Manundu Herbal clinics.
In the past Kambua had shared a touching tribute to her late dad
3 years my Daddy, three years since God called you home. On a day like this in 2014 I was rubbing your feet and your hands, wondering why they were getting so cold.
I didn’t understand that you were slowly transitioning from this side of life.
No one will ever understand the gap you left in my life. I see bits and pieces of you in our family. Mummy is such a strong woman.
You really got heaven’s best. Babu and Ndzomo, I would never trade for anything and their babies are a replica of the man you were.
I hope I make you proud with the choices I make and the accolades I earn. I hope in some way I carry your legacy with the honor you truly deserve.
Sleep on my daddy. In a little while Tutaonana tena. 09/04/2017.
