Chicken can be prepared using different procedures. These are some different ways to prepare your chicken.
1. Chicken curry
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onion, heat till golden brown.
Add garlic and ginger lave to cook for 5 minutes.
Chop the chicken, add to the pan and fry for 4 minutes then stir.
Add tomatoes and other spices and stir the mixture.
Add water and bring to boil.
Leave to cook for 30 minutes.
Add yoghurt and ground almonds once cooked.
Steam the mixture for 3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
2. Honey and garlic chicken wings
Chop onions and add to the frying pan.
Stir till brown.
Add honey, garlic and other ingredients and cook for some few minutes.
Spread the wings on the pan evenly and turn on both sided to cook.
Put the wings in a fridge overnight.
Preheat them 350 degrees heat.
Bake them till golden brown.
3. Kienyeji chicken
Soak the chicken in vinegar for a few minutes.
Make a marinade by mixing the ingredients and toss the chicken overnight.
Boil the chicken for 2 hours, add some cooking oil.
Add some onions to the chicken leave to cook.
Add tomatoes and other spices.
Stir and leave to cook for some minutes.
Garnish and serve with any dish of choice.
4. Chicken lasagna
Heat butter in a pan, add onion heat till tender.
Add more spices and add sauce and stir.
Drain spinach well and press between two layers.
Stir the spinach with the cheese.
Put 3 lasagna noodles into a baking dish, add spinach and chicken.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese and repeat the whole procedure.
Add more noodles and sauce.
Cover and steam for another day.
Bake till the cheddar cheese is melted.
5. Fried chicken
Boil the chicken till well cooked.
Drain the water.
Heat cooking oil in a pan and shallow fry the chicken till golden brown.
Turn the other side and fry till golden brown.
Garnish and serve with any dish.
6. Rosemary lemon roast chicken
Chop the rosemary, garlic and lemon.
Add them to a frying pan with butter and add chillies.
Peel the chicken skin, rub butter and lemon on it.
Place it on a rack with carrots and roast it.
Once ready add to the frying pan and steam it for 10 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
7. Coconut chicken stew
Fry the cooked chicken in a pan.
Add carrots, onions, garlic and ginger and stir till golden brown.
Add coconut oil to the mixture with curry powder.
Simmer for 30 minutes serve when ready.
8. Homemade KFC chicken
Soak the chicken in buttermilk overnight.
Put ginger, garlic, chillies and garnishing powder in a bowl.
Add eggs and mix.
Put the chicken in bread crumbs for a while.
Coat them with the egg mixture one after the other and shallow fry till golden brown.
