Get Well Soon: Football legend Joe Kadenge readmitted in hospital

Legendary footballer Joe Kadenge has been re-admitted in hospital. His family have asked for prayers from Kenyans from all walks of life.

The man famously known for his football skills has been ailing for sometime now.

This is not the first time that the legend has been hospitalized,in February he was in hospital for months after  he suffered a stroke following the demise of his daughter, Evelyn.

RIP: Rugby player Richard Sidindi Akoth drowns while swimming

Impala Saracens rugby team is mourning the death of their star player, Richard Sidindi Akoth after he drowned while swimming at the club’s swimming pool.

Sidindi, who plays as a full back, met his death on Monday morning .

Sidindi whose nick name was Real Jadhah Power, was an Information Technology specialist.

In 2016, Mwamba RFC scrum-half Victor ‘yoods’ Wayodi passed on during his comeback match.

Wayodi collapsed on the pitch after developing breathing difficulties while playing against Nakuru RFC.

The 24-year-old was rushed to Nairobi Women’s hospital but succumbed to cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment.

In 2017, Nakuru RFC player, Mike Okombe perished after he was stabbed to death by his girlfriend.

According to reports, Okombe attended a party with his girlfriend, and news of his death broke much later. The girlfriend stabbed him to death after an argument.

‘A gentle giant who loved people’ Maina Kageni joins other celebs in mourning Bruce Odhiambo

Tributes from Kenyan celebrities are pouring in following the demise of former Youth Enterprise Development Fund Chairman Bruce Odhiambo.

In 2018 October, Odhiambo went to India to replace his pacemaker that had been implanted under the skin to help manage irregular heartbeats.

He returned to Kenya in November but his body developed more complications that led to his admission to hospital.

Carol Radull Visits Joe Kadenge In Hospital After Sudden Hospitalization

Carol Radull paid a visit to football legend Joe Kadenge who is admitted at Nairobi Hospital due to a spike in his blood sugar.

Joe Kadenge is a retired football player and former coach whose skills continues to inspire many.


The footballers health has been deteriorating since 2006 when he suffered a stroke. He has on several times been hospitalized, and at one point President Uhuru Kenyatta paid him a visit.

The football legend is said to have fallen down at home following a blackout, that left him with an injury. Among those who went to visit him is the popular TV and radio sports presenter, Carol Radull.

While together, Kadenge made an appeal for his friends to go visit him.”Where have my friends gone and do they know where I am?” he asked.

‘’Today I visited my friend in hospital. He fell last week during a blackout at home and hurt himself. His blood pressure shot up but is under control now. He asked me to record and share this video. His daughter Susan never leaves his side.

The football legend who is father to Oscar Kadenge  midfielder for AFC Leopards and Evans Kadenge  the head coach of Nzoia United is stable now. According to Carol Radull, Kadenge’s medical bills have been sorted by NHIF so he can rest easy as he recuperates at the Nairobi Hospital.
