Beyonce shows off crop top and mini skirt worth Sh400,000

Beyonce blessed her fans with her outfit on the day on Sunday September 20th and it’s expensive AF.

The crop top and miniskirt costs an estimated Sh400,000 and calculating the cost of the handbag and diamond earrings is almost ten years worth of our rent.

The outfit is from designer Alessandra Rich and was her choice of outfit of the day.

Here are four photos she posted on Instagram in a black diamond studded skirt, top, and paired it with pink heels. In the photo, she’s wearing a sparkling diamond necklace, diamond-studded sunglasses, and bright pink shoes.

It was the elephant in the room – Kelly Rowland says about being overshadowed by Beyonce

Destiny’s Child was the pre-eminent girl group in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. The group was synonymous with hit singles that espoused girl power and became everlasting themes for women of that generation.

Although the group didn’t have an outward leader, most people could see that Beyonce was the dominant member of the threesome.

Kelly Rowland with Beyonce and Michelle Williams

The other members of the group were Kelly Rowland (the prettiest member in my opinion) and Michelle Williams.

After the success, the group members all launched their own solo careers with Beyonce still gaining prominence among many fans. (Although her marriage to Jay Z didn’t hurt her reputation one bit!).

Man upsets Beyonce fans after claiming she is not Black but Italian

Kelly did her best and had her string of hits but when compared to Beyonce she looked like a fart in the wind. And Michelle, I won’t even speak about. The less said about her the better.

Kelly, 39, recently recalled her experience being overshadowed by Beyoncé during their heydays as group members of Destiny’s Child.

Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland

She was speaking after The Voice Australia contestant Chris Sebastian explained his fears about being overshadowed by his older brother, pop star Guy Sebastian.

“I know this feeling. Can you imagine what it’s like being in a group with Beyoncé? I would just torture myself in my head,” she said.

The coach of The Voice also recalled often telling herself that she could not wear certain dresses because “they were going to say it is like B.” “Or, ‘I cannot have a song like that because it sounds too much like B. They are gonna compare anyway,” she added.

She said that the comparison bothered her and that having a more famous band-mate was “the elephant in the room” for “a whole decade.”

Man upsets Beyonce fans after claiming she is not Black but Italian

The interwebs is a bizarre place if one were to believe all the conspiracy theories out there.

For instance, a few days ago an American who is running for a political post sensationally claimed that Beyonce has been lying about being a black woman.

He further added that she is originally named Anne Marie Latrassi and is of Italian descent.

Crazy right? Yup, and the internet has alot to say about this. Many have slammed the man with these claims saying he is trying to wipe out her celebrity status and her blackness.

He wrote on Twitter that

Beyoncé is not even African American. She is faking this for exposure. Her real name is Ann Marie Lastrassi. She is Italian. This is all part of the Soros Deep State agenda for the Black Lives Matter movement. BEYONCÉ YOU ARE ON NOTICE!#GreatAwakening#QAnon #WWG1GWA #Trump2020

— KW Miller For Congress (FL-18) (@KwCongressional) July 4, 2020

Miller also went on to say that Beyoncé’s song “Formation” actually was a “secret coded message to the globalists,” and that she “she worshiped (sic) in the Satanist churches located in Alabama and Louisiana,” because the song was also clearly “demonic.”

Her ans reacted harshly to the suggestion, asking him to keep away from Queen Bey.

It’s joke, some crazy guy who’s running for Congress or sumn spread a conspiracy theory that Beyoncé is not black but Italian and has been lying.

@yzjustoo..
i’m not understanding? she’s not from Houston?

@Curious_Cat97..
See she was honest with us the whole time Rolling on the floor laughing

@Factual_sa..
But her father is a black Mathew Knowles Thinking face like I don’t understand , please make me get this …our Queen is black right?? Pls say yes b4 I freak out

@raveness2020..
It’s a joke calm down. Beyonce is African American

@MegaFunTweets..
If it wasn’t for the internet & social media, people would actually have believed this joke

Beyonce opens up about ‘music industry rejecting her 46 times’

Beyonce joined a host of A listers to deliver inspiring messages to graduates of 2020 in Youtubes virtual celebration.

“Congratulations to the class of 2020, you have arrived here in the middle of a global crisis, a racial pandemic and worldwide expression of outrage at the senseless killing of yet another unarmed Black human being. And you still made it, we’re so proud of you,” she said.

“Thank you for using your collective voice and letting the worlds know that Black lives matter. The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and so many others have left us all broken. It has left the entire country searching for answers. We’ve seen that our collective hearts, when put to positive action, could start the wheels of change. Real change has started with you, this new generation of high school and college graduates who we celebrate today,” she said.

beyoncecovid1
Beyonce also spoke about how she has 46 times, despite winning 24 grammys.
‘There may be more failure than victories. Yes, I’ve been blessed with 24 grammys, but I’ve lost 46 times, That meant rejection 46 times. Don’t ever feel entitled to win. Just keep working harder.’

“The entertainment business is still very sexist. It’s still very male-dominated and as a woman, I did not see enough female role models given the opportunity to what I knew I had to do — to run my label, and management company, to direct my films and produce my tours that meant ownership, owning my masters, owning my art, owning my future and writing my own story. Not enough Black women had a seat at the table. So I had to go and chop down that wood and build my own table. Then I had to invite the best there was to have a seat. That meant hiring women, men outsiders, underdogs, people that were overlook and waiting to be seen,” she said.

“Many of the best creatives and business people, who although supremely qualified and talented, were turned down over and over as executives at major corporations because they were female or because of racial disparity. And I’ve been very proud to provide them with a place at my table. One of the main purposes of my art for many years has been dedicated to showing the beauty of Black people to the world, our history, our profundity and the value of Black lives. I’ve tried my best to pull down the veil of appeasement to those who may feel uncomfortable with our excellence,” she said.

beyoncecovid3

“To the young women, our future leaders, know that you’re about to make the world turn. I see you. You are everything the world needs. Make those power moves. Be excellent. And to the young kings, lean into your vulnerability and redefine masculinity. Lead with heart. There’s so many different ways to be brilliant. I believe you and every human being is born with a masterful gift. Don’t let the world make you feel that you have to look a certain way to be brilliant. And no you don’t have to speak a certain way to be brilliant. But you do have to spread your gift around the planet in a way that is authentically you.”

“To all those who feel different. If you’re part of a group that’s called ‘other,’ a group that does not get the chance to be center stage, build your own stage and make them see you. Your queerness is beautiful, your blackness is beautiful. Your compassion, your understanding, your fight for people who may be different from you, is beautiful. I hope you continue to go into the world and show them that you will never stop being yourself. That it’s your time now, make them see you.”

Moët for who? Beyonce takes Jay Z’s favorite champagne to Golden Globes

The Golden Globes award ceremony usually flows with Champagne throughout dinner—thanks to Moët & Chandon, the official Champagne of the Golden Globes for over a quarter-century.

Beyonce turned up an hour late at the ceremony and in tow was her bodyguard Julius, carrying bottles of Ace of Spades, Jay Z’s brand of champagne.

Ace of Spades — the Champagne’s actual name is Armand de Brignac — was bought by Jay Z in 2014, and he quickly popularized it.

It retails at Sh30,000 a bottle.

According to vinepair.com, the popularity of the brand has skyrocketed.

Beyoncé is nominated for best original song for the track “Spirit” from The Lion King remake album, which earned her her fourth Golden Globe nomination.

The A-list couple showed up at the ceremony held on January 5th, on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Though they skipped the red carpet, Beyoncé and JAY-Z surely turned heads when they walked in.

Jay Z kept things classic with simple black and white tuxedo, while Beyoncé brought the drama by wearing a plunging black gown with enormous metallic gold puffy sleeves. Bey wore sleeked back hair and accessorized with circular-shaped diamond drop earrings.

Beyonce on multiple miscarriages ‘Life began to teach me lessons’

Beyonce has opened up in an interview in the UK edition of Elle Magazine.

In 2012, she gave birth to Blue Ivy, but before that had undergone many miscarriages.

Five years later, she gave birth to twins, Rumi and Sir.

Beyoncé reflected on that moment in the interview saying

“Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else,” she said in the “Ask Me Anything” interview in which she answered questions submitted by her fans. “Then I had Blue, and the quest for my purpose became so much deeper.”

beyoncewhitegown

Speaking on how her miscarriages affected her, Beyoncé told Elle,

“I died and was reborn in my relationship, and the quest for self became even stronger. It’s difficult for me to go backwards. I began to search for deeper meaning when life began to teach me lessons I didn’t know I needed.”

Jay-Z previously addressed the miscarriages the couple had endured on his song “Glory.” “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic / We was afraid you’d disappear / But, nah, baby, you magic,” he raps in reference to his almost 8-year-old daughter.

Beyonce also explains why self care is so important.

She says that most women have been conditioned to ‘tough it out’ and take care of everyone else but themselves.

I am no longer one of those people. My diet is important and I use tools like acupuncture meditation, visualization, and breathing exercises.

6 Celebrities on the pain and heartbreak of suffering a miscarriage

These celebrities have publicly spoken about their experiences with pregnancy loss.

When we go through an emotionally traumatic experience, we often close down and keep the pain private—and miscarriage can be a heartrending ordeal.

Sadly, up to 25 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage. But the more we talk about it, the less people will feel alone. In recent years, celebrities have stepped up to share their stories of loss. Here are the famous faces who’ve had the courage to open up about their experiences with miscarriage.

These celebrities have all bravely commented on their own pregnancy losses, and their quotes about miscarriage are worth sharing with all.

…I lost everything! RHOK actress Njambi says of miscarriage

Speaking on her vlog, Size 8 said, “Don’t take baby showers for granted. Learn to appreciate everything in life. For me, this pregnancy getting here (last trimester) is a miracle. I’ve almost died several times. It doesn’t matter if you have billions of money, you can’t enjoy what you have.”

She narrated how the pregnancy took a toll on her, a few months after she suffered a miscarriage.

“I panicked and asked my husband (DJ Mo): The other pregnancy miscarried, what if this also terminates? So we rushed to the hospital and I was given some medication,” she said.

“Three weeks later, I got a very major pressure attack, and after some time, it went down a bit. Again, I started feeling some weird pains in my uterus.”

‘My unborn baby’s heart beat was at 180’ Size 8 says about emergency CS

2. Njambi of Real Househelp of Kawangware:

‘Real Househelp of Kawangware’ actress Njambi has opened up about a miscarriage she had with her previous pregnancy.

She wrote on social media, “That gave me the anxiety of sharing this news of this pregnancy. When we got pregnant on November 2017, we were not ready. I remember after the miscarriage on April 2018, everyone told us that everything happened for a reason. We didn’t quite understand that it wasn’t the right time for us.

3. Beyonce:

Beyoncé herself opened up about the loss in her HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream. “Being pregnant was very much like falling in love,” she said in the doc. “You are so overjoyed. There’s no words that can express having a baby growing inside of you, so of course you want to scream it out and tell everyone.” But early complications caused her to lose the child. “I flew back to New York to get my check up — and no heartbeat… Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat.” She added, “The pain and trauma just makes it mean so much more to get an opportunity to bring life into the world.”

‘God! I died some more’ King Kaka’s fiancée narrates how she lost her child

4. Mariah Carey:

Mariah Carey opened up about her miscarriage heartache after losing her first baby before the twins came along. Back in 2008, Cannon revealed that right around the Christmas holiday, they learned they were pregnant and prepared to share the good news with friends and family. That plan was derailed by a call from Carey’s doctor.

“Unfortunately, that was the time where he said, ‘I’m sorry, but the pregnancy is not successful,’ ” Cannon recalled. “It was emotional for both of us and that’s when I saw the strength. She handled it so well and then to get on the plane and have to spend Christmas with friends and family, it definitely brought us closer together. It strengthened our relationship so much … she handled it so well.”

Carey went on to say the experience, though challenging, has made them more ready for parenthood.

“The way it happened, so quickly at first, I didn’t know what to expect. That was not easy,” she admitted. “I’ve never really been a very forthcoming person about my personal stuff. It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult. When that happened … I wasn’t able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy.”

5. Gabrielle Union:

Over the past few years, Gabrielle Union has been an open book about her fertility struggles. In her 2017 memoir, she wrote about how she’s had “eight or nine” miscarriages throughout her life—most recently with her husband, Dwayne Wade—and she likened her body to a “prisoner” of trying to get pregnant. But now, at the age of 45, she finally was able to get a diagnosis.

“Toward the end of my fertility journey, I finally got some answers. Everyone said, You’re a career woman, you’ve prioritized your career, you waited too long and now you’re just too old to have a kid—and that’s on you for wanting a career. The reality is I actually have adenomyosis,” Union said at the annual BlogHer conference, according to People. “The gag is I had it in my early 20s.”

Union noted how almost all of the doctors she visited disregarded her symptoms and would solely put her on birth control as a treatment. “Instead of diagnosing me, they were like, Oh you have periods that last nine or 10 days and you’re bleeding through overnight pads, perhaps there’s something more there,” she explained. “Every doctor I saw was like, Let me put you on birth control. The pill can mask all kinds of things. It is amazing at preventing pregnancy; not so great with addressing adenomyosis.”

6. Nana Owiti (King Kaka’s wife):

“In April 2014, I went to the washroom and got a blood stain. Very fast I Google and somewhere hapo napata ooh! Sijui implantation bleeding,” stated Nana. The blood stain prompted her to visit a hospital where a scan was conducted.

“The sonographer calls another Sonographer and I hear. ‘Hakuna!’

“Anyway I ask ‘hakuna nini?’ the first sonographer says ‘hakuna heartbeat’…
“I gave King (Kaka) a quick glance and quickly gave those two sonographer another one expecting a ‘We just fooled you!’ My God! There was no taking back their words. I died a little. King was confused and I some more. I walked out first and sat by the hallway of the hospital.”

Other celebrities who have shared their own struggles and experiences with miscarriages and the pain they bring also include Pink, Gwyneth Paltrow.

‘My dress is from Kenya’ Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy shows off custom made outfit

Beyonce has shared with fans worldwide her inspiration behind a Kenyan custom made yellow dress and neck piece that her daughter Blue Ivy wore earlier this year.

Blue Ivy in the video can be heard saying

‘And this piece is from Kenya. Ok I will tell you one thing so this is a circle and this Africa is the circle of life.’

Beyonce adds that

‘so many talented people worked on on this project. I was very honored to have the women of Northern Kenya work on a very special costume for Blue’

This dress and headpiece was hand beaded with love by beadingArtist from Kenya.

She wore this headpiece and dress to the Waco’s 2019 Gala (annual wearable art gala) at the WACO Theater in Los Angeles for a night full of art, music, and charitable donations.

The glamorous gala was organized by Bey’s mom, Tina Knowles, and her husband, Richard Lawson, to benefit their nonprofit gallery and performance venue.

The theme of the evening was “A Journey to the Pride Lands,” inspired by the then anticipated live-action remake of The Lion King in which Beyoncé voiced Nala.

While Bey modeled a glimmering golden jumpsuit with a cape and voluminous lion motif, JAY-Z sported a dark suit.

Blue Ivy even got in on the Pride Rock fun, rocking a billowing bright yellow dress and a spiked crown á la Bey’s onstage ensemble at the 2017 Grammys.

The question on everyone’s lips at the time? How on earth did she lose so much weight? “I ate a very low-calorie diet. I stayed away from red meat and ate a lot of fish, and replaced pasta and rice with quinoa,” Beyoncé said.

“I always have breakfast, say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk. For lunch and dinner, I eat a lot of fish and vegetables. And throughout the day, I try to stay hydrated.”

Beyonce was photoshopped into Lion King cast poster – John Oliver

When the queen is busy, everyone else must find a way to make it work.

Late night talk show host John Oliver, who plays the chirpy king’s attendant Zazu in the new live action Disney blockbuster The Lion King, confirmed speculation that Beyonce, who stars alongside him as Nala, was not actually present for the cast’s official photo shoot.

When he recently appeared on The Late Show to discuss the film with late night contemporary Stephen Colbert, Oliver looked at the cast photo in question and said, ‘She wasn’t there. No she wasn’t there… I think almost everyone else was there.’

The photo features Beyonce and Oliver along with cast-mates Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Eric André, Florence Kasumba, Keegan-Michael Key, JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph all dressed in black.

Beyonce calls Lion King album a love letter to Africa

‘Chiwetel [Ejiofor] was sitting in the front and he said, “You need to be careful where your foot is,”‘ the Last Week Tonight star said. ‘I looked down and and there was just this piece of tape on the floor with Beyonce’s written name on it!’

When he realized he may be encroaching on Beyonce’s presence, he had a rather strong, expletive-filled reaction.

‘It was like an electrical reaction. Just the future presence of Beyonce was so intimidating,’ he mused.

‘If you look at my face in there, I look really intimidated and that’s because what I’m doing is imagining that I am about to be put into a photo with Beyonce one day, and that was nerve-wracking enough!’

The Lion King is currently playing in theaters, after a record-setting opening weekend at the box office.
