‘My daughter has a date with her dad’ Betty Kyallo confirms Okari is not a deadbeat

Betty Kyallo has proved that her baby daddy Dennis Okari is not a deadbeat.

For the longest time, Betty has been seen as the sole breadwinner of their daughter since the two broke up.

Early this year, there was a heated argument between Okari’s friend and Betty’s sister after she failed to recognise the father in appreciating those who stood by her while her daughter was in the hospital.

The only time Okari responded to claims of being a deadbeat was when he said that at some point he will speak because so many things have been written about him, but people who say those things don’t know him well.

Well, today, Betty has revealed that her daughter has a date with her dad.

She wrote on Instagram;

“My baby is becoming a sweet little girl 🎈🎈 she chooses what to wear She likes dresses and tracksuits just like me❤️ she chose what to wear today because she had a date with her dad.
She loves makeup, lipstick especially 🤗🤗 She doesn’t like cuddles anymore, I have to beg for kisses, she gives hugs easily and she doesn’t like oats anymore😆 I’m happy God gave me a second chance with her.”

The public first learnt that Okari and ex-wife Betty are not co-parenting in July last year. The drama started when Okari called out Betty for exposing their daughter Ivanna on social media.

“My daughter does not deserve the kind of publicity she has been getting. She deserves to grow up quietly and no one, including myself as her father, should interfere with her rights to privacy,” he said.

Betty took a subliminal shot at him, implying he is a deadbeat dad while replying to a fan who was narrating how he was raising his children as a single parent.

“I have a son age 4 and a daughter age 2, their mother ran away and as a father, I took full responsibility to make sure my kids are growing up in a good environment. And every day when I wake up I look at them, kiss them and I get motivated and the urge to hustle more so they won’t feel the absence of their mum,” the fan wrote.

To which Betty said,

“I love this. Much love for you and your kids. I resonate with you because I’m all my daughter has.”

Betty was previously married to Dennis Okari, a union that bore a daughter, Ivanna.

Sadly the union did not end up in a happily ever after and the couple got divorced.

Fans reacted differently and one macjosh16 asked her to solve her difference with Dennis Okari so they could raise their child together.

“But Dennis Okari Ako hai so I don’t understand why you are saying you’re a single parent, you people should set your differences aside, the ego and then co-parent, no child is born with a woman or a man alone, they must be two participants in making of a baby,” wrote the fan.

Betty responded saying;

“My friend learn to unlearn things you don’t know. Argh!”

Okari has since remarried and recently shared his 1st wedding anniversary to his wife Naomi Joy.

Everybody in her family wanted her to break up with Okari after what he had put her through. Three years down the line, pregnant Betty Kyallo would then go back to Okari as she talked to him behind her family’s back.

This time round, the traditional wedding was attended by only ten people. Betty explained,

“We then decided that when Ivanna turned one, we would have the wedding. The second traditional wedding leading up to this day was attended by only 10 people. My mum and dad were the only ones present from my from of the family. But ultimately, it was not the marriage ceremony I had dreamed of.
