Controversial singer Betty Bayo might have gotten engaged earlier this month but that doesn’t mean she isn’t still going to be dishing out her interesting takes on social media.
One of her latest ones is the contention that the happiest women today, aren’t those who are married. Isn’t she trying to get married herself?
But wait her message wasn’t as straight-forward as that with a distinction being made with the singer saying that single women are also not happy, and neither are those with stable careers and good income.
“I refused to confess defeat with my mouth” How Betty Bayo overcame a broken marriage
Her empowering message focused on the self saying that the happiest women are those who have chosen to love themselves wholly, by putting behind all the bad things that have happened to them.
“The happiest women today are not the married ones. They’re not the single ones. They’re not the ones with stable careers and good incomes. The happiest women are the ones who made a choice to love themselves wholly and truly. 😘👌Women who chose to leave the past behind, worked on their self-esteem and put a high price tag on their self-esteem.💯💃🏻,” read part of her post.
Betty who was married to disgraced pastor Victor Kanyari went on to add that those women had moved on past their anger and tears.
“They stopped playing victims. They stopped whining in self-pity and dining in pity parties. They moved past their anger, tears and bitterness. They realized that happiness is a personal choice and responsibility. They chose to be defined by their present, but not their bitter pasts.”
Adding that those women didn’t need validation to be happy.
“They are happy because they don’t need validation from anyone. 🤷🏿♀️They are happy because they know that they don’t need to throw shade on anyone for them to shine. They are happy because they chose to be Queens and not doormats.❤❤❤💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻,” added Bayo.
