Bebe Cool’s friend and singer Dizzy Nuts born Denis Oscar Mubuuke, was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Uganda. The singer was involved in a hit and run accident where it is believed that it was a plan to take the life of Bebe Cool.

The two had just performed at a club identified as Victoria Pub and a Toyota Harrier knocked Dizzy who was standing outside the car talking to Bebe Cool, who was inside his hummer.

Kato Hassan, Bebe’s friend was also affected by the accident and is currently hospitalized.

In an social media post, the Mbozi Za Malwa hit maker narrated the incident,

“A speeding car with tinted Windows that had earlier parked at a bank opposite to where i had parked mine at a distance (as narrated by eye witnesses),without lights which totally seemed planned to hit me last night after my gig claimed the life of a young man,a brother,a father,a friend of so many.
It also knocked another friend of mine Kato Hassan breaking his leg and fore head but his condition is being managed so far.
The body of the late has been taken to his fathers home in kireka for viewing tonight, tomorrow he will be taken to Kayabwe Masaka road where he will be put to rest.
He could have been useless to those who executed this plan but he was a human being and a father.
Judgement is done by Allah not man and we all shall follow the same road, the only difference is who goes first and how.
Rest in peace my brother OSCAR MUBUKE aka DIZZY NATS GALIWANGO.”

Fans, family, friends and celebrities described him as a discipled yet talented man who observed principles in his work.

He leaves behind three kids, Ceaser Kiguli, James Solomon Kulumba and Sheebah Namitala, however he had previously divorced his wife.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Good Husband Material: Bebe Cool Shocks Kenyan Men After Doing This For His Wife On His Knees

A while back, Bebe Cool took to social media to defend his wife, Zuena Kirema from trolls.

Zuena was under attack after some social media ninjas decided to blame her for his “failure to get into politics and be a success” like Bobi Wine.

Bebe Cool did not take this lightly. He took to Facebook and blasted the trolls, mercilessly.

He wrote, in part:

Now let me pump some sense into your heads;

1- The reason I work hard everyday of the week is to see a smile on my wife and children’s faces whenever i wake up every morning. If expensive cars, good clothes & shoes, great health care abroad, and so on, is what it takes, I will do exactly those things for them till my last breath.

bebe-cool-wife-82. IT IS MY CHOICE TO SEE ZUENA CHANGE HER HAIR EVERY WEEK, DRIVE AN EXPENSIVE CAR, GO ABROAD FOR ANY REASON, BUY NEW KNICKERS WEEKLY, NOT KNEEL BEFORE ME WHILE SERVING ME (BECAUSE I WANT HER KNEES TO REMAIN AS SMOOTH AS I FOUND THEM 14 YEARS AGO). THE REASON FOR ALL THIS IS ENSURE THE SHE KEEPS ME TURNED ON.

3. Success and achievements are relative. While some of you believe that owning a residential house is an achievement, some of us believe in owning commercial properties that will ensure a steady return on investment for a lifetime.

4. I do not believe in announcing my personal possessions and milestones just to impress you. As long as the people that matter to me are aware of my worth, that is satisfactory enough for me. My wife is top on that list, bearing in mind that am the top ranking Ugandan artist presently and that can only be achieved by a man with a very strong woman behind him.

5. It would be wrong of me to blame failure of once a top artist in keeping their spot at the top on lack of a strong woman behind them. I am aware that staying in the music business takes wit, determination, Talent, commitment, focus, respect, lots of finances, strategy, clear mental health, but I also know that not many people POSSESS these attributes. I would never in my conscious self blame their lack of persistence in this competitive music business on their wives.

AT THIS POINT, I WANT TO ‘RE ASSURE YOU THAT AM VERY COMFORTABLE WITH MY WIFE’S DEMANDS, THOSE WHO KNOW HER WELL KNOW SHE’S NOT DEMANDING AT ALL INFACT I FORCE HER TO SPEND ON HERSELF MOST OF THE TIMES…THIS MAKES ME FEEL A COMPLETE MAN. MUNVIILE KU MUKAZI WANGE, MAMA WA BAANA BANGE. SHE IS NOT COMPARABLE TO ANY.

Zuena was impressed.

Recently, Bebe Cool also showed how much he loves his wife by helping her out. Zuena is heavily pregnant and bending to wear shoes or even tie laces is an impossible task.

Bebe Cool did that for her. Like the king he is.

Zuena gushed:

Mothers,we all know that time when our tummies are in front of us and  we can’t do certain activities especially bending while seated,am lucky to have this mwami of mine. At times like these he comes in handy…always helping in such situations 💃

Before the kids was us….Musa & Zuena.12-09-2003 was the day we said i do at Crane Chambers in a civil wedding,we are celebrating 14 years in marriage and we can’t hide our excitement.

We were so young but this Rasta man guided me to the right path and groomed me to the wife & mother i am today.
My Rasta man promised heaven on earth and am glad he has delivered 90% of what he promised, most of all this Rasta has protected me,taken care of me in all aspects and he’s one person i know that can take a bullet for me.

Am the kind that will complain on unnecessary spending be it on myself but when it comes to me he’ll do anything to put a smile on my face.

He keeps telling me he wants another wedding with me in a proper gown 👰🏻🙈 but we’ll see about that.
As we celebrate 14yrs in marriage with 5 kids & another on the way,all i ask Allah is to keep guiding & protecting us,grant us good health, lead our children in the right path of praising & serving Allah & most of all grant us long lives on this earth.

Bebe Cool ANGRILY BLASTS Ugandan Journalists Over Reports He Could Be Stranded In The US

Moses Ssali, commonly known as Bebe Cool is a ragga musician from Uganda. He started his career at around 1997 in Nairobi, Kenya and after a few years he moved to his native country.

Together with Redsan and his compatriot Chameleone, Bebe Cool was one of the first artists affiliated with Ogopa DJ’S, a production house and record label in Kenya.

BEBE

Two of his popular singles are “Fitina” and “Mambo Mingi” and in his career in music he has won several awards including best male artist at the Pearl Of Africa Music Awards and nominated as Best East African Artist at the Kora Awards.

The controversial singer took to social media about Journalists in his country and the rumors and negative stories they are writing concerning him and his stay at the United Stated saying that he his stranded wherever he is.

Image may contain: 4 people, people smiling

He said that ” I woke up to an article from my country Uganda whose flag I and many other artistes struggle so hard to raise high. We hustle to sell the names of our countries and Africa positively, stand out as examples, give the youth hope that anything is possible as long as you work hard, stay focused, sacrifice, stand proud of your home, and love and support your own products.
This is not the first time negative articles are written about me, but this time I choose to react, correct, inspire and start a movement against negative, selfish, irresponsible and unprofessional journalism in UGANDA and AFRICA as a whole.
It’s disgusting to see African or Ugandan journalists focus on highlighting the negative. It is uncouth of young men and women in journalism not to know the value of hard work, struggle, genuine sacrifice, confidence, self-belief, innovation and leadership.
It’s so painful to see that journalism in my country Uganda is based on lack of knowledge, facts, personal issues, bribery, attention seeking, and a desire to destroy those that work hard. I have had so many encounters with journalists in the last 20 years of my professional music career but one thing I have noticed about them is that most of them never do journalism for any reason beyond their individual benefit yet journalism is something which I believe should be about benefiting the community”.

Bebe Cool added that In Uganda, journalism is many times all about tarnishing individuals. It is about pulling people down, fighting each other, destroying the hard working and successful, disrespecting and looking down on women, and misdirecting the youth. He is calling upon all Africans to join educate, correct, redirect, inspire our journalists in Africa towards selling the good side of Africa and Africans because that’s what the western world has done despite the fact that they face the worse conditions than us like bad weather, war, murder, theft, drugs, homelessness, complicated diseases, fraud, prostitution etc.

“Let’s pick a leaf from them before we destroy others, ourselves and our MOTHERLAND”.

He pointed reasons why journalists in Uganda publish negative stories about artists and here are the reasons he gave. “There are many reasons, I will point out a few. A journalist can ask you for money when broke and say if you don’t give them, you will see negative articles about you until you call and give them money. It’s basically blackmail. In Uganda if a journalist wanted to date a lady and she turned them down, there will be fire for the next one year with all sorts of negative stories about her. Some journalists even have groups in which they are called, paid to attack specific individuals, families and businesses to mention but a few. Little do they know that all these factors contribute to the lagging behind of our MOTHERLAND Africa, countries and individuals. This stuff builds nobody. Not even the people who spread all this negativity.

They destroy the confidence of an African woman and child.
They mislead the rest of the world about the true picture of Africa.
They destroy the African tourism sector.
They indirectly destroy businesses in which their own mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters are employed/earn a living.
They scare away investors.
They build false confidence in those who bribe them with money and assets to mention but a few.
Little do they know that they at the end of the day destroy themselves as well”.

Despite his name being tarnished, he has stood firm and strong fighting  the journalists. In a published newspaper, the article said that the musician was stranded abroad and he said that there is no such thing.

Here is what people had to say about his reaction;

Gagamelgal Faith…  I know those who hate u are many but those who love u

Gadaga David Jerry…. Bebe Cool I just want to clarify one thing from you. Is the story true that you are stuck in the U.S. and would not do a colabo with Jason or the media is just creating propaganda.
Richmal O’dray…Bebe Cool You are so irrelevant, don’t even talk of Uganda. Do You even care about?? I don’t think any youth can be inspired by You, only complaining and ever talking trashy, but we shall never take. I pity your wife and children, never talk about our Uganda again please.. talk about Rwakitula cause your well paid to sell this country You call yours
Ampumuza Ignatius play yo music you cant do more, then if our news men and women are not learned professional in that caliber ,did you study singing? No you don’t own an MDD degree or master either ,so you r equally lost

Zari Kando! Bebe Cool’s Elegant Wife Looks Nothing Like a Mother Of FIVE. Check Out Her Recent PHOTOS That Have Left Men Drooling

Ugandan ragga and reggae artiste Bebe Cool is one of East Africa’s household names, and though many don’t know this, the singer started his musical career in Kenya, signed to Ogopa Deejays before he relocated to his home country.

Bebe Cool shocked fans when he recently called Kenyan artistes ‘somehow lazy’ because they don’t put themselves out there or market themselves enough to promote their music, adding that there’s talent but no exposure.

‘They are LAZY,’ Ugandan Singer Bebe Cool Claims That Kenyan Artistes Are NOT Aggressive Enough When It Comes To Music

The African Gal hitmaker then openly went on to confess that the only singer from Kenya he recognizes is top boy band Sauti Sol, who he’s done a collaboration with, dubbed Mbozi Za Malwa.

Besides music, Bebe Cool is a family man who knows how to take care of his wife and children.

The singer is married to media personality and his longtime sweetheart Zuena Kirema, one of the most beautiful female celebrities in Uganda, and are still going strong through the spotlight.

Their last born child, Deen Ozil will be turning 2 years in November and there’s no doubt this is one of the most loved and adorable celebrity families in Ugandan showbiz industry.

Zuena is currently running an events company and between her job and being a mother, the stunning woman has managed to keep herself in shape.

‘They are LAZY,’ Ugandan Singer Bebe Cool Claims That Kenyan Artistes Are NOT Aggressive Enough When It Comes To Music

Moses Sali better known by his stage name Bebe Cool is one of the African artistes at this year’s Coke Studio Africa and there’s no doubt that his hard work in music has propelled him to new levels over the years.

Bebe Cool recently worked on a new collaboration with Kenya’s top band Sauti Sol dubbed Mbozi Za Malwa, back in April 2017, though the music video hasn’t received many views on YouTube as anticipated, it received a lot of positive feedback when it was dropped.

This was the first time the reggae and ragga singer has worked with a Kenyan artiste, despite being in the industry for more than a century, but why did he take such a long time to make this move?

Well, in a recent interview, with Insyder, Bebe Cool was asked who his top 3 Kenyan artistes are, and the answer was not what anyone expected, at all.

The African Gal hitmaker revealed that the only singers he can rate and recognise from Kenya are BET nominees, Sauti Sol, because it’s the only group that has been able to spread their wings both in East Africa and Africa as a whole.

To tell the truth there is Sauti Sol. I would definitely tell you I don’t think I can rate anybody else. Coz basically apart from the old legendary it’s only Sauti Sol that has made sure they have made a name in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Africa.

Bebe Cool revealed that he had only met mellow-voiced singer Dela recently, at Coke Studio and applauded her talent and amazing voice, but reiterated that he would not have known or heard of her if it wasn’t for Coke Studio.

I just met Dela recently and I haven’t even listened to her music (before) so that means Kenyan artistes are a little bit lazy, I usually say that and I’m never shy about it. Because I haven’t heard of Dela before Coke Studio, if Dela has management she has to think twice and move (market themselves internationally) because that is how I will know you. I won’t know when you are there, however good your music is. Success also comes with business and marketing.

DELA-KENYA-2

According to the musician, Kenyan artistes are somehow lazy and need to work on their marketing and management if they want to be recognised in other countries in Africa and internationally.

He however appreciated and congratulated Sauti Sol on their resilience and how they have strived to get accolades all over African and globally, and their enterprising nature too.

This comes after Nigerian singer Iyanya revealed that singer Jaguar was reluctant after their One Centimeter remix, saying that he didn’t make an effort to market his song in Nigeria or introduce himself to the press, which he told him to do 2 years ago;

I don’t know if he was expecting me to do his job for him, he was just lounging around for over ten days. He did not even make any effort, not even a newspaper interview.

‘My Wife Deserves Expensive Clothes And Shopping Trips,’ Shouts Bebe Cool After Wife’s Accused Of Wasting His Money

Being married to a star comes with its perks, what with the endless shopping sprees, attending posh parties, and jet setting to luxurious vacations.

It appears that this is exactly what Ugandan singer Bebe Cool’s wife has been doing, which hasn’t gone down too well with locals in his country.

Bebe Cool is currently in Kenya, where he is hustling to make some cash, but haters won’t let him prosper, according to a post on his social media.

The singer has taken time to jot down an angry post telling off people who are offended by his wife’s heavy spending. She is a shopping addict and he is proud of it, because he says he works hard to make sure she shops even harder.

This is the heavy worded statement to haters;

They say silence is golden but they too say too much of anything is bad. Am away at #cokestudioafrica in kenya for my second week doing international music which i believe is good for myself and my country.

I have seen alot of people from Uganda attacking me and my wife over a local election in Uganda. To my understanding it was a musician that was voted by a section of Ugandans. But it has come with demands and insults, some of which I deserve, but not my wife.
I am writing this post as a husband defending my wife and family as a whole.

You say my wife has not been constructive to me, that her job is to ask me for money to go to the saloon, buy cars, fly to the USA for delivery blablabla, and that that’s why you consider me underachieved.

Now let me pump some sense into your heads;

1- The reason I work hard everyday of the week is to see a smile on my wife and children’s faces whenever i wake up every morning. If expensive cars, good clothes & shoes, great health care abroad, and so on, is what it takes, I will do exactly those things for them till my last breath.

2. It is my choice to see Zuena change her hair everyweek, drive an expensive car, go abroad for any reason, buy new knickers weekly, not kneel before me while serving me (because I want her knees to remain as smooth as I found them 14 years ago).
