I was starstruck by ‘hot’ Barack Obama – Madonna

Madonna recalled being ‘starstruck’ by ‘hot’ President Barack Obama on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday and also proposed to the host.

Madonna met Obama in June 2016 backstage at 30 Rockefeller Plaza while both were taping appearances for The Tonight Show.

Oh, my god. That is probably the most nervous I’ve ever been in my life. I had butterflies in my stomach. I was completely and utterly starstruck. I was gagging

Madonna said.

I’ll never forget. You said to him, ”You’re the only reason I’m doing this show”. I can hear you, I can hear you. I was right there

Jimmy said.

‘The truth hurts,’ Madonna said before telling Jimmy that there were no ‘illusions’ this time and she was only there to see him.

Madonna earlier beat Jimmy in a Neon Dance Challenge in which they wore suits lined with neon lights while dancing.

She asked house band The Roots afterwards if they were ‘mad’ at her or disapproved of her dance moves.

‘You seem grumpy,’ she teased them.

She then poked fun at Jimmy about his dancing and called it ‘physical comedy’.

‘A good comedian has to be able to dance,’ she said when Jimmy took exception.

‘You do need a new hairstylist, but that’s another story,’ she quipped.

The Michigan native was promoting her fourteenth studio album Madame X that Jimmy noted was number one in 60 countries on the iTunes Charts.

‘I’m shocked and grateful and it never gets old. It’s like the first time every time,’ Madonna said.

Jimmy praised the singer for her ‘brain’ saying that she’s ‘smarter than the average bear’ and then stumbled while trying to say that it’s hard to guess her next step.

Michelle Obama shows off dance moves in Paris as Obama tours Kenya

Former US President Barrack Obama is in Kenya to attend the opening of a sports and training centre founded by his half sister Auma Obama.

The organization ‘Sauti KuuFoundation’ is a non-profit organisation that helps orphans and other young people struggling with poverty in Kogello.

His wife Michelle Obama was spotted in Paris dancing to some good music from Beyonce.

According to Daily Mail, Michelle and her 17-year-old daughter Sasha were among the famous faces in the crowd as they watched the power couple take to the stage for their On the Run II tour on Sunday night.

Michelle and Sasha were snapped in the stands at the Stade de France by several excited fans before Beyonce and Jay-Z took to the stage.

But when the duo’s concert kicked off, Sasha was no where to be seen and Michelle was spotted mingling with Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles instead.

The show was the same one in which Beyonce treated her French fans to a screening of the World Cup ahead of the concert with her husband.

The Formation hitmaker shared a clip on Instagram of the moment the fans went crazy when France scored, as well as a selection of snaps from the stage of the crowds enjoying the game.

Soon after France secured the World Cup by defeating Croatia, Beyonce and Jay-Z took to the stage to perform for the already elated crowd.

As for Michelle and Sasha Obama, it isn’t the first time the pair have been spotted in the crowd at one of Beyonce’s concerts.

Michelle chaperoned both daughters, Sasha and Malia, to Queen Bey’s Chicago gig back in 2014.

This Is What Happened When Michelle Obama Went For A “Sleep Over” At Buckingham Palace

Michelle Obama has opened up about her experience of a ‘sleepover’ at Buckingham Palace, after being hosted by the Queen on a state visit in 2011.

Speaking at a MUSE event, hosted by Klick Health in New York, the former First Lady revealed that she wasn’t nervous as she’d already built up a rapport with the royals.

‘I think by the time we had the sleepover we had enough interacting with them,’ Michelle, 54, explained. ‘The surprising thing is folks wanted to be treated normally.

When asked if the cooking was better at the White House or Buckingham Palace, Michelle came out in support of her former home.

‘I don’t want to insult anybody, American food is just better,’ she said, adding that the Queen has ‘better china’.

‘Everything is gold. We had seen the gold room – there’s a room where they keep all the gold,’ she recalled.

‘It was Sasha’s birthday and the Queen opened the house and she let us see that room.’

THE OTHER WOMAN! Barack Obama TWO-TIMED Michelle Obama With a White Girlfriend He’d Desperately Proposed To TWICE

Barack Obama proposed to a different woman – twice – before he met Michelle and kept on seeing her for the first year of his relationship with FLOTUS.

Sheila Miyoshi Jager was almost entirely omitted from Barack Obama’s own biography, Dreams of My Father, where she was simply combined with his other white exes into one character.

But according to Rising Star, by David J. Garrow, Jager played a huge role in Obama’s formative years.

So much so that even after Barack met his wife-to-be Michelle, he kept seeing Jager on and off for at least a year, the book claims.

The couple was very much in love in the mid-1980s when they were living together in Chicago, according to Jager, who described them as being ‘an island unto ourselves.’

Their relationship quickly progressed and in the winter of 1986, while visiting his girlfriend’s parents, Barack popped the question, Jager told Garrow.

But Jager’s parents were concerned that she was too young – Jager was 23 and Obama was 25 – and refused his advances.

They remained together, but it was about this time that Jager began to realize her then boyfriend’s ‘deep-seated need to be loved and admired.’

Now 53, the associate professor and director of the East Asian program at Oberlin College in Ohio, told Garrow that Obama became ‘so very ambitious very suddenly.’

‘I remember very clearly when this transformation happened, and I remember very specifically that by 1987, about a year into our relationship, he already had his sights on becoming president.’

But Obama believed he needed to ‘fully identify as African American’ to fulfill his political ambitions – and believed that having a non-black spouse could damage his prospects, according to the book.

This reportedly put pressure on Obama’s relationship with Jager who is of Dutch and Japanese heritage. By the time he was leaving for Harvard Law School, their relationship was on the rocks.

But Obama was not ready to give up on Jager, and proposed to her for a second time – asking her to join him in Harvard.

Again Jager turned him down. She believed that his proposal was ‘out of a sense of desperation over our eventual parting and not in any real faith in our future.’

The second marriage rejection was too much for their relationship, and the couple split.

Obama went to law school where he famously met Michelle where she was working. The couple quickly fell for each other and began dating.

But Garrow claims that Jager and Barack continued to see each other on and off after she arrived at Harvard for a teaching fellowship.

‘I always felt bad about it,’ Jager said.

However, after Barack and Michelle married in 1992, Jager says that they stopped seeing each other and their contact was limited to the odd letter or phone call.

The Obamas have not publicly responded to the claims in the book. But it is not the first time Barack’s exes have been laid bare.

The pub that played a part in Kenya’s, and Obama’s, history

The stale smell of last night’s beer hangs in the Kaloleni Public Bar, a down-at-heel tin-roofed tavern sandwiched between a butchery and a panel beater in Nairobi’s Eastlands.

In its heyday the insalubrious boozer was a favourite of Kenya’s founding politicians and President Barack Obama’s father, Barack Obama Senior. It was here that he had his last drink of whisky on 24 November 1982.

Afterwards, he left in his pickup truck, crashed into a tree and died, aged 46.

The proprietor, George Anyim, is a 44-year-old barrel of a man with a cannonball head and a greying goatee beard. He is the third generation of Anyim to run the pub having inherited it, and its stories, in 2003.

“The elite used to drink here, those who had gone abroad to read,” said Anyim. In recent decades the pub, like the neighbourhood, has faced “challenges”, he said. The neighbourhood has suffered neglect and competition has increased from other pubs including, close by, ‘Rescue Bar’ and another called ‘Nameless’.

“It’s not the glory days that it used to be,” said Anyim. “The big people are gone.”

Today the ‘mugumo’ tree that Obama Sr. used to sit under has been chopped down, the garden is paved with uneven flagstones, and the sky shut out by sheets of corrugated iron. The portable television sets on the wall are caged, like the bar counters.

On a raised seating area are four heavy pew-like painted wooden benches, part of the original seating.

But the pub’s current state masks an illustrious history. “Independence started here,” said Anyim.

“Those who fought for independence used to come here: Kenyatta Sr. was here, Obama Sr. was here, Tom Mboya was here, Odinga Sr. was here,” he said ticking off the names of famous politicians who led Kenya to independence in 1963, plus Obama Sr. who only returned from the US the following year.

– ‘Double whiskies’ –

Back then the pub had two entrances and two bars, or chambers: the ‘House of Lords’ was for the elites, and anyone else who could afford bottled beer or branded liquor; cheap moonshine was on offer in the adjoining ‘House of Commons’.

On the night he died, Anyim said, “Obama Sr. left in a joyful mood, he had bought people many drinks, whole rounds. We don’t know why he was so happy.” When word of his death got around, regulars were “shocked” and saddened, said Anyim.

President Obama visits Kenya this weekend but Anyim acknowledged that the days when the Kaloleni Public Bar was the place to be are long past, and the chance of a presidential visit non-existent.

Nevertheless, he said, if Obama stopped by he would happily pour him a glass of whisky in his father’s honour.

“The first tot is on the house,” he said, “but after that he has to pay.”

10 Acres of Bhang for Malia Obama’s heart

The race to Malia Obama’s heart continues as one Jamaican Marijuana farmer is the latest to come out and express his interest in being her father-in-law.

Forget the two Kenyans who offered cows and goats for the 17-year old girl, this Jamaican Marijuana farmer is offering 10 acres of bhang as bride price to Obama for his son to marry the president’s daughter.

The man known as Roy Chambers said that he believes that him and Malia Obama would make a perfect couple. “I tried to approach President Barrack Obama with my offer while he was in Jamaica a few months ago but the security prevented me. I have sent him a regular mail to the white house and also an email so I hope he will reply soon,” said Chambers on Jamaican website 18 Karat Reggae Gold.

He is offering his marijuana farm because he believes it is his most valuable possession which is willing to give to the president.
