Police raid another Mosque in Mombasa

Police staged a raid on a third mosque in Mombasa Tuesday night and recovered crude weapons, petrol bombs, a hand grenade, 6 bullets and a flag.
There was no arrest was however made in the raid at the Swafaa Mosque. Police said they had intelligence there were youths holed up there before they raided the mosque that is in Kisauni.
Witnesses said the youths who were present managed to sneak out of the mosque as the officers arrived.
The raid came hours after interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku said some of the youths arrested from the Sakina and Musa mosques in Mombasa in a police operation were planning to take over other mosques in the region.
