In June, a judge presiding over their divorce case set new scheduling details for the actor to spend more time with five of his six kids. Maddox isn’t included in the arrangement because he is old enough to decide on his own how much time he wants to spend with his father.

‘I stopped him and managed to get out of the room,’ Real Accounts By Hollywood Actresses Who Refused Sexually Transmitted Movie Roles

Harvey Weinstein was checked into rehab in Arizona on Friday as dozens of women accuse him of rape, sexual assault or inappropriate behavior.

By the time he was admitted, allegedly for sex addiction, more than 30 women – including Angelina JolieGwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGowan, and Cara Delevingne – have released detailed statements, describing Weinstein’s alleged advances.

It was a swift move by the disgraced movie mogul to save face just days after the scandal erupted.

Gwyneth Paltrow: The star told the New York Times that Weinstein touched her and suggested having joint massages in the bedroom before she started shooting the 1996 film Emma. She said she told her then boyfriend Brad Pitt about the incident and he confronted the mogul.

angelina-jolie-cryAngelina Jolie: Jolie told the Times she had to turn down advances from Weinstein in 1998 and chose never to work with him again. She said she warned other women about him

Cara Delevingne: ‘As soon as we were alone he began to brag about all the actresses he had slept with and how he had made their careers and spoke about other inappropriate things of a sexual nature. He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation. When I arrived I was relieved to find another woman in his room and thought immediately I was safe. He asked us to kiss and she began some sort of advances upon his direction. I swiftly got up and asked him if he knew that I could sing. And I began to sing….i thought it would make the situation better….more professional….like an audition….i was so nervous. After singing I said again that I had to leave. He walked me to the door and stood in front of it and tried to kiss me on the lips. I stopped him and managed to get out of the room’.

Lea Seydoux: ‘We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me. I had to defend myself. He’s big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him. He tried more than once. This was never going to be about work. He had other intentions – I could see that very clearly. All throughout the evening, he flirted and stared at me as if I was a piece of meat. It was hard to say no because he’s so powerful. I’m an actress and he’s a producer. We are in the same industry, so its impossible to avoid him. I’ve seen how he operates: the way he looks for an opening. The way he tests women to see what he can get away with. That’s the most disgusting thing. Everyone knew what Harvey was up to and no one did anything. It’s unbelievable that he’s been able to act like this for decades and still keep his career.

Asia Argento: The Italian actress has accused Weinstein of forcibly performing oral sex on her when she was 21. ‘He terrified me, and he was big. It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare.’ She said she went on to have consensual sex with him over the years that followed. She documented the alleged attack in her 2000 film Scarlet Diva.

Zoe Brock: ‘Harvey left the room, but not for long. He re-emerged naked a couple of minutes later and asked if I would give him a massage. Panicking, in shock, I remember weighing up the options and wondering how much I needed to placate him to keep myself safe. I told him I was uncomfortable and that I was angry that I had been tricked into this position. He pleaded with me to let him massage me and I let him put his hands on my shoulders while my mind raced. Harvey chased me, d**k, b**ls and all, and banged on the door with his fists, pleading with me to come out.’

Louisette Geiss: Actress was called to a late night meeting with Weinstein in 2008. He allegedly emerged in a bathrobe and told her he would green light her script if she watched him masterbate. She left the meeting.

Judith Godreche: The French actress says Weinstein tried to massage her and pull off her sweater after asking her up to his Cannes suite to see the view in 1996.
Dawn Dunning: Aspiring actress says she was called to a meeting about future film projects in 2003. When she arrived Weinstein presented her with three scripts for his next three movies which he would let her star in, only if she had three-way sex with him. She fled the hotel.

Tomi-Ann Roberts: Weinstein met her when she was serving tables as a college junior in 1984 and told her to meet him at his home. When she arrived, she says, he was naked in the bath and told her she would give a better audition if she was nude. She says she refused and left.

Katherine Kendall: The Swingers actress was told Weinstein had to stop off in his apartment to pick something up after a screening in 1993. He changed into a bathrobe and told her to massage her. When she resisted she said the mogul returned naked and chased her.

Lucia Evans: The actress, formerly known as Lucia Stoller, claims Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2004. Speaking to the New Yorker, she said that she suffered years of trauma after the incident which occurred in a ‘casting meeting’ in a Miramax office in Manhattan. He reportedly called her late at night after the incident.

Mira Sorvino: The Mighty Aphrodite actress told the New Yorker that Weinstein tried to massage her in a hotel room at the 1995 Toronto International Film Festival. He then went to her home in the middle of the night but she called a male friend to protect her, she claimed. She said turning down the mogul adversely affected her career.

Rosanna Arquette: The actress also said her career suffered after she rebuffed Weinstein’s advances in the early 1990s. At a hotel meeting he tried to put her hand on his erect penis, she claims.

Rose McGowan: The actress, who made her breakthrough in 1996 in the Weinstein-produced slasher revival movie Scream, reportedly sued Weinstein after he assaulted her in 1997 at the Sundance Film Festival. She signed a non-disclosure agreement at the close of the suit and has only referred to him obliquely in social media since. On Sunday she referred to being abused by a ‘monster’ and has previously referred to being raped by a studio head.

Ashley Judd: Judd’s film roles include the 1997 thriller Kiss the Girls – and says that during the filming of that movie Weinstein repeatedly asked her to watch him shower. She was one of the women who spoke out to The New York Times this week, saying: ‘Women have been talking about Harvey amongst ourselves for a long time, and it’s simply beyond time to have the conversation publicly.’

Emma De Caunes: French actress Emma de Caunes said that she met Weinstein in 2010, soon after he told her he had a script he was producing based on a book with a strong female character. Weinstein offered to show her the script, and asked her up to his hotel room, where he began to take a shower. He then emerged naked and with an erection, asking her to lay down with him on the bed and telling her that many had done so before. ‘I was very petrified,’ said de Caunes. ‘But I didn’t want to show him that I was petrified, because I could feel that the more I was freaking out, the more he was excited.’

Lauren O’Connor: A former employee of The Weinstein Company, she told executives there in the fall of 2015 that there was ‘a toxic environment for women at this company’ after one of her colleagues told her that Weinstein had pressured her into massaging him while he was naked, the NYT said.

Ambra Battilana: An Italian actress and model, she told the NYT that in March 2015 Weinstein invited her to his New York office. There, she said, he asked if her breasts were real before grabbing them and putting his hands up her skirt. She reported the alleged incident to police, but they did not press charges. According to the NYT, Weinstein later paid her off.

Jessica Barth: Weintein reportedly pressured Barth, an actress, to give him a naked massage in the Peninsula Hotel from 2011 onwards.

Laura Madden: An ex-employee, she told the NYT that Weinstein had asked her to give him massages from 1991 onwards, while they were both in London and Dublin. ‘It was so manipulative,’ she told the NYT. ‘You constantly question yourself – am I the one who is the problem?’ Weinstein denied knowledge.

Emily Nestor: Nestor was a temporary employee of the Weinstein Company for just one day in 2014 when Weinstein approached her and offered to boost her career in exchange for sex, the NYT reported.

Zelda Perkins: An assistant of Weinstein’s based in London in 1998; then 25, she reportedly confronted Weinstein after she and ‘several’ others were harassed and later settled out of court.

An Emotional Angelina Jolie Admits That Brad Pitt Is a Wonderful Father, Saying She’s Determined To Make Her Family Healthier

Angelina Jolie opened up about her split from Brad Pitt in a new interview, admitting that the actor is a ‘wonderful’ father to their six children.

The actress and director spoke with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America Tuesday morning to promote her new film ‘First They Killed My Father,’ and was asked by the anchor if she still believed the words she had used to describe her ex as a parent in an interview from years back.

‘Of course,’ said Jolie, who then added: ‘We will always be a family. Always.’

Jolie, 41, filed for divorce citing the ‘health’ of her family back in September after Pitt and oldest son Maddox were involved in some sort of skirmish on the family’s private plane.

The incident was later investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, who determined there was no reason to press any charges or keep Pitt from seeing his children.

Jolie also got emotional at one point when asked about the health of her family in the five months since she made the decision to file for divorce.

‘We are … we are focusing on the health of our family. And so we will be [healthier],’ said Jolie. ‘We will be stronger when we come out of this, because that’s what we’re determined to do. ‘

Jolie spent part of the interview speaking about her six children with Pitt, including son Maddox who was adopted from Cambodia, the country where she filmed her new movie.

The film, which Jolie directed, is about the 1.7million Cambodians who are believed to have been killed under the Khmer Rogue and Pol Pot, the leader of the country’s Communist party.

Some believe as many as 3million may have been killed under the dictatorship, which came to power in 1963 and committed mass genocide a decade later.

Close to a quarter of the population died, and as Jolie explained everyone in the country was affected as a result.

That is why she wanted to work with Maddox on the picture.
‘I don’t know much of my child’s birth parents but I believe they would have gone through this war,’ said Jolie.

‘I wanted to understand him and his culture in a deeper way and I wanted to bring this story to this country in their language.’

And Maddox was with her every step of the way she told Stephanopoulos.

‘I talked to Maddox about this film and about doing it, and it was him in the final hour who said he was ready, and that he wanted to understand more, and that he wanted to work on it, and he wanted me to make it,’ said Jolie.

‘Being with him on set and studying the history of this country with him and being with his people was extraordinary.’

She also added that her son Pax worked on the film as well doing the ‘still photography.’

Brad Pitt Takes Selfies With Adoring Fans In China As He Returns To The Public Eye After Split With Angelina Jolie

He returned to the world of red carpets earlier this week, after laying low in light of his tumultuous divorce from Angelina Jolie.

But Brad Pitt looked more than happy to be back on the scene on Monday, as he jetted to Shanghai, China for another screening of his new drama Allied.

The 52-year-old actor appeared to be in better spirits than ever as he answered questions about the new WWII drama – after taking endless selfies with adoring fans on the red carpet.

The hunky actor was sure to give back to his fans from the other side of the world, as he spent a long amount of time chatting and taking selfies with them on the red carpet.

Known for being a heartthrob from his youth, Brad looked handsome as ever in his stylish all-black outfit – proving he has only got better with age.

The star dressed in an incredibly dapper black three-piece suit, formed of perfectly tailored trousers and a clean cut blazer.

Keeping the look toned down, he opted for a matching black shirt underneath and layered a casually stylish scarf on top.

Brad tied his look together with smart patent black brogues, to maintain the slick and suave feel throughout.

Brad announced he was separating from long-term partner Angelina Jolie as promotional proceedings for the film were kicking off – which caused speculation of an affair between him and the French actress to swirl.

However Marion took to her Instagram page in a rare post to staunchly confirm that such a romance did not take place.

She wrote: ‘This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into.

‘I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up’.

brad-china (1)

She went on: ‘Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.’

Angelina, who has six children with partner-of-12-years Brad, filed for divorce the day after an alleged altercation on a plane between Brad and their eldest son Maddox.

However after laying low amid the difficult divorce proceedings, the Moneyball star finally returned to the public eye on Wednesday for the LA premiere of the film – and was open with his gratitude to fans for their support.

He told E! News of the difficult few months on Wednesday: ‘It’s really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here. It’s really nice to have all the support.’

TBT: Brad Pitt’s Moving Love Letter To Angelina

If you need some letter writing tips or you are battling whether to get a divorce with your wife, maybe Brad Pitt can teach you a thing or two. He wrote his wife Angelina Jolie this love letter titled ‘A secret of love’ when his wife was going through a lot of issues thus affecting their marriage. He opted not to get a divorce but love her more instead.

Wouldn’t we all want a man who writes us love letters? Read it below

A Secret of Love
“My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and problems with children. She has lost 30 pounds and weighted about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny, and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the morning and got tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role. I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon … But then I decided to act on it. After all I’ve got the most beautiful woman on the earth. She is the ideal of more than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall asleep next to her and to hug her shoulders. I began to pepper her with flowers, kisses and compliments. I surprised her and pleased every minute. I gave her lots of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends. You won’t believe, but she has blossomed. She became even better than before. She gained weight, was no longer nervous and she loved me even more than ever. I had no clue that she CAN love that much. And then I realized one thing: “The woman is the reflection of her man”

Jolie surgery ‘dramatically’ lowers cancer risk: experts

It is a hard personal choice, but removing healthy fallopian tubes and ovaries effectively slashes the cancer odds for women like Angelina Jolie who carry a risk-boosting gene mutation, experts said Tuesday.

Carriers like the Hollywood star, who has had the surgery two years after a selective double mastectomy, face a “sky-high” risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer, said Per Hall, an oncologist at Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet.

Hall told AFP he would “absolutely” advise women who carry the inheritable BRCA1 gene alteration to consider preemptive surgery.

“It is of course an extremely sensitive issue, because as soon as you remove the ovaries you can’t get pregnant anymore and if you remove the breasts you can’t breastfeed,” he told AFP by telephone.

“I would say any woman who is a carrier of these genes and has delivered the children she wants to deliver during her lifetime, she should definitely be encouraged to discuss the issue.”

Carriers of the BRCA1 mutation, which is more dangerous than BRCA2, have a lifetime risk of about 80 percent of developing breast cancer, compared to about 10 percent for women without it.

For ovarian cancer, the elevated risk was about 40-50 percent — compared to about 1.5 percent for the general population.

About 15 years ago, the risks were not well understood, fuelling debate about the wisdom of removing perfectly healthy organs.

But today, “there is absolutely no dispute,” said Hall.

Removing the fallopian tubes and ovaries limits not only lowers the odds of developing ovarian cancer but also of breast cancer, he added, by curbing the release of risk-boosting female sex hormones.

Even women who have had a mastectomy remain at risk, as some tissue often stays behind.

Thus by opting to follow her mastectomy with a dual fallopian tube-ovary removal (salpingo-oophorectomy), Jolie has “dramatically” reduced her risk, said Hall.

“You can say she has a very, very low risk” — even lower than that of women without the genetic alteration.

About 0.2 percent, or one in 500, women carry a harmful mutation in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene (BRCA stands for BReast CAncer susceptibility).

The genetic flaw accounts for a small number of cancers overall, but has been found in half of families with multiple cases of breast cancer, and in up to 90 percent of those with both breast and ovarian cancer.

BRCA1 carries a higher risk than BRCA2.

People of Ashkenazi Jewish descent are more likely to carry a BRCA mutation, as are certain Norwegian, Dutch, and Icelandic individuals, according to the US-based National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Carrying a gene mutation does not mean a woman will necessarily develop cancer, and lifestyle factors like alcohol use, overweight, physical inactivity, delayed pregnancy and not breastfeeding may also contribute.

Breast cancer is the leading cancer killer of women aged 20-59 worldwide, causing about 1.38 million new cases and claiming some 458,000 lives every year, according to the UN’s World Health Organization (WHO).

Getting ovarian cancer is less common, with a lifetime risk of about one in 75.

But it is also more difficult to find because it develops deep inside the body with few symptoms.

– More genes in future? –

“It is harder to diagnose ovarian tumours than breast tumours and the treatment is more complicated,” said Dominique Stoppa-Lyonnet, a genetic oncologist at Paris’s Institut Curie.

“These are the reasons why we recommend ovary removal” much more easily than a mastectomy, for which the alternative is regular mammograms and physical examinations, she added.

Cancer survival rates vary greatly between developed nations and poor countries, which have fewer early-detection programmes.

But the cost of genetic screening can be prohibitive, ranging from several hundred to several thousand dollars for a test, according to the NCI.

The WHO advises against mass genetic screening for BRCA1, focusing instead on women whose close family members have developed cancer.

“We are expanding beyond these two genes and probably in the future we will add maybe 100 to 150 markers that also influence the risk of breast cancer,” said Hall.

“It is getting more complex in trying to understand the risk. But this is where we’re heading.”

Angelina Jolie just had her ovaries removed

Two years after Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy to prevent the onset of breast cancer, the actress has revealed that she has since had her ovaries removed due to a second health scare.

The 39-year-old Maleficent star published a lengthy opinion piece, titled Angelina Jolie Pitt: Diary Of A Surgery in the New York Times on Monday explaining her decision.

With her ovaries and Fallopian tubes now gone, the mother-of-six has entered early menopause and will not be able to have any more children, she writes in her candid, deeply personal essay.

In May 2013, Brad Pitt’s wife famously had her breasts surgically removed after she found out she was carrying a genetic mutation that greatly increased her risk of potentially fatal breast cancer.

Last week, Hollywood’s leading lady went under the knife, undergoing what is known as a laparoscopic bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

Jolie revealed that one of her ovaries did have a small tumor on it but it turned out to be benign, and there were no signs of cancer in the tissues.

She noted that she chose to keep her uterus because there is no history of uterine cancer in her family.

To counteract the loss of her ovaries, Jolie turned to hormone replacement therapy and had an IUD inserted in her womb, but she says in the essay that her child-bearing years are now behind her.

Angelina Jolie confirms retirement from acting

Angelina Jolie has confirmed she plans to retire as an actor to focus on her budding career as a film-maker. Speaking to Du Jour magazine in an interview to promote her new film Unbroken, the Oscar-winning star of Girl Interrupted said she “absolutely” planned to move permanently behind the camera and revealed she did not enjoy being the centre of attention.

“I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera,” said Jolie. “I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.”

Jolie said in June that a planned appearance as Cleopatra in a long-gestating biopic could be her final acting role. “It’s one of those that you think maybe that’s the one you put everything into and that’s where you end it, that’s where you finish – in a great way,” she said. “What could you do beyond that one?”

UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie Calls on More Countries to Help Fight Ebola

Hollywood actress and UN goodwill ambassador, Angelina Jolie on Tuesday called on countries across the world to do more to contain the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

Jolie made the statement in Sydney where she was promoting her new film, “Unbroken.’’

“I would say there are many countries in the world that could do more.

“We all need to collectively do everything that we can, because this is a global crisis and it affects all of us,’’ Jolie told reporters.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) the Ebola outbreak which is centered in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, has so far claimed over 5,000 lives.

Richard Leakey speaks about Angelina Jolie movie

Kenyan politician and environmentalist Richard Leakey (above) spoke about the Angelina Jolie-produced movie about his life called Africa.

During a recent public lecture in the US at the Wang Center Theater, Leakey said, “It is certain, as anything is certain in Hollywood, that a movie will be made about a period of my life where I worked hard to stop elephants from being poached, but I can’t tell you more.”

Jolie (left) told US press that her motivation to work on the film was because “I have felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life, and was taken with Eric’s beautiful script.”

Leakey, 69, is a former head of Kenya Wildlife Service and was key in stemming the rampant poaching of the late 1980s, using extreme measures including sending helicopter gunships into national parks. The screenplay has been written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth.

Kenyan Government To Give Incentives For Angelina Jolie’s Film

Kenya Film Commission chairman Chris Foot says they are working at providing “an incentive package for international and domestic filmmakers”. This was in response to a question on whether or not Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie’s Kenyan film will be shot in the country.

Actress Lizz Njagah raised the question on social media asking, “How many people want to bet that this ‘Kenyan’ story will be shot in SA? KFC, here’s your chance..bring it home.” She was referring to Jolie’s directorial role in the Richard Leakey inspired anti-poaching film titled Africa.

Chris Foot responded “We’re currently working on an incentive package for international and domestic filmmakers. We lose too many films to RSA on account of their attractive tax incentive and the reluctance of insurance companies to issue bonds in Kenya due to the perception of insecurity/travel advisories. Of course in the meantime we carry on marketing filming in Kenya as best as our derisory budget allows..”

Jolie said her motivation to work on the film was because “I have felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life, and was taken in with Eric’s beautiful script.”

Inside Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s secret wedding

In stark contrast to the Kimye wedding circus, Brangelina married in secret last week.

In fact, despite being one of the world’s most famous couples, they managed to keep their nuptials private for almost a week.

So private that, along with the rest of the world, Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, didn’t know they had taken place.

“That’s nice,” Voight said when America’s Inside Edition broke the news to him.

In a separate statement to E!, the 75-year-old actor said: “It sounds like it was a wonderful wedding. It must have been very beautiful with the kids participating. I know it was during Emmy weeks and they were able to do it very quietly. I’m very happy for them.”

Last night a spokesperson for the couple confirmed that, last Saturday, they tied the knot at a small chapel on the grounds of their wine chateau in the South of France.
