‘Marriage is sowing and reaping,’ Pastor Kathy Kiuna shares some great advise

Pastor Kathy Kiuna of  JCC Ministries with her husband Bishop Kiuna are a true definition of marriage works.

The two have been married for 26 years now and blessed with children and grandchildren.

In a recent post on her Instagram, Pastor Kathy shared some advise that has kept them together through the journey.

On the photo, she explained how her husband supported her when she lost her dad. He gave her a shoulder to lean on. Kathy went on to say that she also has been supportive to her husband in all seasons.

She says that for the 26 years, she has learnt that marriage is not only for the good times but even the bad times.

It is like sowing a seed where if you sow a good seed, the harvest will be rich and good but if you sow bad seeds, then you reap bad harvest.

Here is the post.

“Marriage is not just for good times but also for hard tough times. As I had the last look at the first man I ever loved, my dad, my husband held me close all through and I cried so hard on his shoulders. Before that it was his dad, after my dad it was his mum and I was the shoulder he cried on. For better for worse came so alive. Marriage has seasons just like weather does and each season has lessons.”

She added;

“When you learn the lessons you get stronger and better. The one lesson I have learned in marriage for 26 years is that marriage is sowing and reaping. If you sow good seed to each other you reap a great harvest. You sow bad seed you reap a great harvest. You treat your spouse like trash but remember it’s seed, your harvest will come and you will need them badly but they won’t be there. Lesson, never tire sowing good seed. God sees, He knows and He understands and He will fight for you.
