Maina Kageni and King’ang’i discuss Malkia Strikers performance at the Olympics

Malaika Strikers have so far been beaten by Brazil and Poland and they are yet to face Japan

Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King'ang'i discussed the performance of Malaika strikers in their Olympic games.

Maina said, ''Kenya has dominated the African continent since the 1990s, winning the Women's African Volleyball Championship a record of ten times.''

The national women’s volleyball team’s hopes of a first-ever win at the Olympics took a hit when they lost 3-0 to Poland in their second match of the Paris Games on Wednesday night.

''We play so well! What I don't get is why when we get out of this continent we play like we have never played any game. I know we are so good so ni nini? What happens?'' Maina asked.

These were some opinions from fellow Kenyans;

Kiprono Sang It's sad to see us play like kids,,, yesterday after 1st set was totally disappointed with our girls.

EricThey keep imagining a muzungu fall and scratched wana tense. It's setting your next games to be undermined by your opponents.

Wilfred Matamano Our girls play well they only need confidence when playing the opponent.

PRINCE VINZ They need to learn a few techniques not to use energy all the time.
