Kathy Kiuna clarifies why she is still active in Church even after the death of her husband

Maina Kageni: What is the problem? Why are people saying she didn't mourn enough? What did you want her to do?

Kenyans have been wondering why Bishop Kathy Kiuna is still on her toes after the death of her husband Bishop Allan Kiuna.

Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King'ang'i discussed the matter with Kenyans on today's morning show.

''Days after losing the late Bishop Allan Kiuna, Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) has addressed why she remains highly active in church activities.''

During a recent JCC service, Kathy shared her reasons for being so active, clarifying that her presence does not mean she isn’t mourning.

''What is the problem? Why are people saying she didn't mourn enough? What did you want her to do surely ?'' Maina asked.

During a recent service at JCC, Kathy addressed the congregation, explaining that she prefers to remain present and mourn alongside those who have also lost a leader.

“People keep asking how I’m doing. I’m overwhelmed and don’t know how to respond. Today I might be strong, and tomorrow I might struggle. Walking into church and seeing pictures of him brings up a lot of emotions,” Kathy said.
