Kenya published the Finance Bill, 2024 which proposes a wide array of tax

Mike Mondo and Mwalimu King'ang'i engaged their listeners about the taxes on the new Finance Bill, during the morning show.

Among others, the Bill proposes a 25 per cent excise duty on edible oil, 10-20 per cent M-Pesa and mobile transfer charges.

Last month, Kenya published the Finance Bill, 2024 which proposes a wide array of tax and administrative measures affecting different tax laws.

Mike Mondo posed a question, ''Do you support the finance bill? Do you think these measures will lead to a better nation?''
