Concerned Maina: Why do some men forget about their mothers?

Maina Kageni expressed his shock when a man narrated to him how he had not seen his mother and the rest of his family for three years. 

Speaking on the morning conversation, Maina said;

"Apparently, there are women who don't let their men talk or visit their mothers. I met a man who told me it's been 3 years since he saw his mom."

Mwalimu King'ang'i said that such women have colonized their men's minds " Unakuta ulisahau kwenda kwenyu lakini mnashinda kwao. Mpaka unajenga huko! Fellas, what do these women tell you that make you forget your mother?" He asked.

A caller said he has been married for 12 years and has rarely seen his mother since then.

"I am a victim, married for like 12 years. The first year I told her to go ushago for the December holiday, she would call me and tell me how bad our ushagu is, when I went and came back to Nairobi with her, Siwezi hesabu nimeenda home mara ngapi. This was in 2010 and I have gone home twice."

"When I go, I stay for two days and come back to Nairobi. Two years ago is when I last saw my mother. I went because my son was going for circumcision. I call her on phone, I sent her money but bibi asijue."
