During the morning conversation today, Maina and King'ang'i talked about what happens in a Kinyozi when a man goes to get his haircut.

He inquired of the ladies if they had ever accompanied their partners to a Kinyozi.

"Ladies have you ever taken your man to a kinyozi?" Maina asked.

Maina urged the ladies to accompany their men to see for themselves what usually occurs.

"Ladies you must know about what happens kwa kinyozi, you need to go with your man kwa kinyozi," Maina said.

Mwalimu King'ang'i, on the other hand, stated that ladies are not needed in barbershops. He warned Maina not to reveal everything that happens.

"We don't need them, haribu vile unataka," King'ang'i said.

Maina went on to say that in barber shops, men get their heads and bodies massaged to the point of them taking off their shirts.

"Where you find your man ametolewa shirt yote. There is something called message ladies. Why are you removing your clothes in a Kinyozi? Your men will never tell you what happens kwa those kinyozi's leo nitaawambia."

Maina also revealed that men tip the female barbers a lot of money, even going so far as to give money that he does not give to his wife.

"When your man goes for a haircut and there is a massage they tip those ladies so much money. Money that they can't even give you."

King'ang'i however told Maina that he is putting a lot of jobs in danger as the elderly men who used to shave men back then have already passed on.

"You're putting so many jobs in danger. So many people will be affected. wale wazee walikuwa wanatunyoa wote walikufa."

In response, a caller stated that she cannot allow her husband to visit those barbershops because she takes her children there and they won't always want to return for the after-shave massage.

Caller: My hubby doesn't go to those barber shops anaendanga kwa hizi za wazee. I have two sons , one is 31 the other is 9 and he tells me mom won't be taking me to those local kinyozi's , he says he enjoys the massages. Sasa siwezi kubali my husband aende uko!
