The colour of your urine can tell you if you should be drinking more water, which is very important.
Urine is usually varying shades of yellow and, the darker it is, the more likely it is that you’re becoming dehydrated.
Dehydration can be a serious health risk and is particularly dangerous for babies, children and elderly people.
The urine of someone who is properly hydrated should be a very pale yellow or clear.
Whereas a darker yellow or more brownish colour could be a sign someone is getting dangerously dehydrated.
Dehydration can usually be easily avoided and treated by drinking enough water.
But, if left to get worse it can cause dizziness and tiredness or lead to more serious complications like heatstroke, muscle cramps or exhaustion.
