The relationship between Ugandan couple Zari Hassan and Shakib Cham Lutaaya seems to be on the mend after weeks of tension.

Recently, they were seen together, with Zari continuing her visit to Uganda, her home country.

This positive turn comes after Zari issued a heartfelt apology to Shakib in an effort to salvage their marriage. She admitted to making mistakes by publicly airing her grievances against him on social media during their recent conflict.

“I have a husband, but there were times I said things that were surprising, as you have seen. As a normal person, you encounter challenges. Things happen, and God created us to make mistakes. When you reflect, you see your errors,” Zari said.

She continued, “Yes, I made mistakes. I was so distressed that I turned to social media. I chose an inappropriate platform.”

Zari’s visit to Uganda last weekend was partly to reconcile with Shakib, with whom she had a public fallout a few weeks ago.

In a recent interview, the 43-year-old socialite admitted that her trip was intended to mend their relationship.

She acknowledged her error in publicly criticizing Shakib online and blaming him for her emotional turmoil.

“Things happen, and God made us to make mistakes. We cross boundaries, but later we reflect and see our errors,” she noted.

“I am a stubborn and independent woman, Zari the BossLady. But I did make mistakes and had grievances,” she added.

The mom of 5 confessed that using social media to address her issues with Shakib was a significant mistake.

She clarified that her main purpose for returning to Uganda was to reconcile with her husband.

“I am here to make things right, admitting that my online comments were wrong. I want Shakib to come back,” she concluded.

Last month, Zari criticized Shakib on social media and threatened to leave him, following his doubts about her relationship with Diamond and his wife.
