Controversial artist Justina Syokau has requested prayers from pastors and evangelists, claiming that she has been struggling with a fear of men.
In a lengthy video circulating on social media, the artist spoke emotionally about how she has been dealing with this fear for the past 11 years, ever since she separated from her former partner.
The mother of one asked pastors to pray for her so that she can overcome this challenge, as it has made it difficult for her to find a life partner due to her fear of every man who tries to talk to her.
"There is an issue that has been troubling me, something that has been bothering me a lot as a person, and sometimes I don’t even have the strength to talk about it. I thought it would be good to share it so that you can help me with advice and prayers. Pastors, please come together and pray for me because this issue has troubled me for 11 years," Syokau revealed.
"It’s been more than 11 years that I've been alone and feeling lonely, and I’m afraid of men. What people don’t know is that even though I talk a lot, the truth is that behind the scenes, I’m very afraid of men since I was abandoned by my ex. It’s like I’m scared of getting my heart broken again, to the point that when someone tries to flirt with me, I get startled and refuse to continue the conversation," she added.
The mother of an 11-year-old boy explained how she was heartbroken by her former partner, saying that she was abandoned in 2013 and found herself on the streets of Nairobi after her parents refused to take her in, claiming they were not ready to live with a daughter who had a child.
