Wife awarded more than 2m online after 4 a.m marriage admission

A woman sleeps and wakes up with the luck of a palm tree after sharing her story of how she started waking up every day at 4 in the morning to prepare food for her husband before going to work.

A woman named Debbie on the X network was addressing the post of another user on the network who said that a certain woman was waking up at 5 a.m. to cook for her hubby.

Debbie spilled her side of the story about her marriage, not knowing that the story would be the catalyst for a major change in her life.

Debbie said that she used to not do that but after she was told that her husband was dependent on the food of a co-worker, she then set an alarm to wake her up every day at 4:50 a.m. to cook for her husband before going to work.

“I've always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he'll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50am," Debbie said.

Due to that confession, other netizens threw words of surprise at her for pretending to be a slave in marriage but some praised her as a hero of marriage and asked her to put her number so people could donate money to thank her for showing a great example of sacrificial marriage.

Within a few days, Debbie has reportedly received more than two million Nigerian Naira, equivalent to about four hundred thousand Kenyan shillings.

The beauty returned to the X network and published photos and transactions that she had received and thanked all those who offered to congratulate her in the form of money after sharing her courageous story.

"For everyone involved in this, I have no words, but I cried my heart out in prayer for everyone who contributed, posted and wished me well. My head hurts and I just want to sleep. Thank you all very much," she said.
