Avril Nyambura deactivated her Instagram account after revealing that she and her baby daddy, J Blessing, had arguments.
The account that was followed by almost two million people is no longer active.The couple gained popularity on Wednesday, Nov. 15, when she uploaded and then removed a photo of her face bruised.
Later, she went back on the internet to confess that she had forgiven her partner and to beg Kenyans to show him the same mercy.
Later, J Blessing acknowledged an altercation and expressed his sorrow over their publicised lives in a statement.
He said she was harmed in the physical altercation and sought medical attention as a result.
He did, however, clarify that one of the pictures Avril had uploaded was from an argument they had over a year prior, during which they were both injured.
J Blessing continued by saying that he admitted full responsibility for the incident and drove Avril to the hospital.
“I sincerely apologise for any harm I have caused Avril or any other person. I am not innocent but I would like to clarify a few things.
“About a year ago we had a physical altercation where we both got hurt and on that day, I immediately took her to the hospital at Aga Khan. I take full responsibility for that moment of weakness. One of the pictures she posted is from that incident,” he wrote.
He further added, that the two of them had an altercation on Tuesday night but there was no physical harm.
He then said they had agreed to part ways after a tumultuous seven-year relationship.
