Video producer Jibril Blessing, better known by his stage name J Blessing, has announced that he and Judith Nyambura, better known by her stage name Avril have broken up over allegations of violence.
J Blessing claims that the two have made the decision to split up.
"Avril and I have agreed that is best for both of us to stay away from each other to prevent such incidents from happening again," he said.
The producer went on to say that the pictures Avril had posted on social media were from a heated fight they had a year earlier, during which they were both injured.
"About a year ago, we had a physical altercation where both of us got hurt and I immediately took her to the hospital. I take full responsibility for that moment of weakness," he continued.
"One of the pictures she posted was from that incident."
J Blessing clarified that it wasn't a beating as some had implied by stating that the two got into another fight last night.
"I want to assure everyone that I did not beat her, I am not an abuser, and I do not support violence. I am a human being who has made mistakes in my life."
