Marioo reportedly paid Sh 5.8 million dowry for Kajala's daughter

Tanzanian singer Marioo has been alleged to have given a dowry of 100 million Tanzanian shillings [Sh 5.8 million] to marry the daughter of actress Kajala Masanja, Paula Masanja.

This was revealed by Paula herself during a short interview with an unknown person who was talking behind the camera.

In the video, Paula and her mother Kajala were standing hugging each other when the man asked her about the progress of her relationship with the artist.

The man asked her if the dowry had already been settled, whereupon the girl replied with a shy smile that Marioo was a cool person and had already submitted a dowry of that amount of money to ask for her hand in marriage.

"He has already given 100 million dowry," Paula answered the question while laughing with her mother and trying to hide their faces.

However, the relative seemed to doubt the amount of dowry.

Paula after confirming that she broke up with Rayvanny several months ago did not calm down and came back announcing herself as Marioo's girlfriend.

Marioo has also been struggling with Paula for some time in a love affair that started as a game, many feeling that the two were initially together for a commercial where Paula was expected to appear in Marioo's music as a video vixen.

Last week, Marioo wrote on the internet that he had doubts about getting married as Paula seemed to be hot and cold in her love for him.
