Mrs. Flora Mutegoa, the mother of former bongo movie star, the late Steven Kanumba, has praised her son's former lover, Wema Sepetu.

Speaking in an interview with Msasa Media, Kanumba's mother noted that the actress is a good woman who has been brought up well.

"I am very grateful to her parents. They raised her on solid foundations. These other things are just youth, but in terms of discipline and respect, they raised her very well," said Mrs. Mutegoa.

She noted that before her son died more than a decade ago, he had a close friendship with Wema.

She explained that when she was dating Kanumba, the actor had a good attitude. Mama Kanumba revealed that the actor used to cook for her a lot while noting that she deserves to be the best wife.

She noted that Wema had never wronged her in any way and had continued to maintain a good relationship with her.

Following that, she wished her good success in life including her marriage with Whozu. "I thank her and I pray to God that her affairs will be successful.. everything and anyone, be it Whozu I don't know who, God bless him. As for me, Wema has never wronged me even one day," said Kanumba's mother.

About a year ago, Wema Sepetu celebrated ten years since the death of Steven Kanumba.

Through her Instagram page, Wema relived her memories with the actor with a series of pictures.

Wema, who has also been in a relationship with Diamond, wished the deceased a good rest in heaven.

Wema and Kanumba dated for an unconfirmed period before they broke up in controversial circumstances.

During their relationship, Wema got pregnant twice and each time aborted, which she believes has affected her to this day.

About three years ago, she admitted that the first abortion was an agreement between them but the second was done secretly without Kanumba's knowledge.

Kanumba died on April 12, 2012. At the time he was dating actress Elizabeth Michael who was accused of being involved in his death and charged with attempted murder.
