Samidoh's wife raises eyebrows about marital status with TikTok challenge

In February this year, Edday Nderitu the wife of Kikuyu singer Samidoh penned a note expressing her displeasure with her husband.

She issued an ultimatum to him and hinted that she had ended their marriage after putting up with struggles in their 15 years together.

“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was humble beginning where little was enough for us, for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain.

“I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation and being trolled on social media…you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted,” she wrote.

Edday further stated that she will not raise her kids in a polygamous set-up, accusing Karen Nyamu of being a homewrecker.

“I have helped you nurture your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family [sic], especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect to my family’kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it.”

She has now taken to TikTok to share a video challenge of Harmonize's song 'single again'. She used hashtags 'Single again'.

A fan told her that she would never divorce Samidoh because she has no other options.

"Huyu ata inje ya gate hawezi toka, anatoka aende wapi na aanzie wapi na ameishi kufikiria kua goat wife ni ticket to happiness," opined the person user2592548297899.

This riled Edday who mocked the commentator and wrote back, "Ebu amka usikojoe kwa kitanda."

Others encouraged Edday to stay in her marriage but consider herself a single woman. "Usitoke Edday we are all single again in our marriages at some point," said user mercygichuhi836.
